I wasn't the least bit surprise. His defense has always been impenetrable. I don't know why y'all even have debates on here about him even losing ...its not going to happen...he make good ass fighters look like shit

As skilled as Floyd is, I think Canelo did a good job. At 23 he should be happy with his performance. Floyd levels ahead as the overall fighter, but I think he should be happy with his effort.

aint 3 more fights in Floyds Showtime deal?

who the else is there to actually fight him?

Dude, at this point I dont know who else is left. Garcia?!?!?

Well Bradley is the perfect challenger, not that he would win. But he has not been beaten (officially) and holds the belts Floyd does not. But he is top rank so it will never happen boxing as a business....

Floyd too smooth wit it. Waaay too intelligent for these fools.

Somebody break down Canelo's.game plan...and if/when it was aborted...

Well he tried to outbox him initially.. shit was stupid.. hes the best boxer.. he tried to goto the body he couldnt get there.. his offensive fight.. was his defensive fight in essence .. i think he knew what would happen if he fought his regular fight.. then again he couldnt.. its really no indictment on his game.. round 7 i think the defensive display floyd put on was phenomenal.. Canelo had the fight but didnt have the delivery system hes mentally tough i give him that and his defense wasnt bad at all.. again you can attribute that to the way he fought this fight.. in part

STAY CONNECTED

CJ Ross scored tonight's Mayweather-Canelo fight a 114-114 draw. Immediately, the world watching the bout wondered if maybe they had gone into a coma sometime prior to the fight and were now living in some kind of dream world.

Thanks to our friend Luke Thomas who is on the scene in Las Vegas, here's a shot of the official scorecards from tonight's Floyd Mayweather rout (even if not scored that way) of Canelo Alvarez at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. 116-112 was bad enough, 117-111 may even be giving Alvarez too much credit, and 114-114 from Ross is completely insane. Ross gave Canelo four of the last five rounds. Somehow.

Ross, who also scored Pacquiao-Bradley in June 2012 for Timothy Bradley (115-113), needs to have her credibility as a judge seriously evaluated by Keith Kizer and the Nevada State Athletic Commission at this point. It has become beyond tiresome to hear the same old lines such as, "Well, it's different at ringside," which sure, but this different? Not really. "Well, it's a subjective sport." It's especially subjective if you're just plain getting it wrong.

Commissions have to start giving actual reviews of things like this. It happens all the time, and it's inexcusable for a sport that wants more attention and grumbles that people don't always give it a fair shake. How can they when the people so often in control of deciding the outcome seem either incompetent or otherwise suspect?

UN-FUCKING-BELIEVABLE!!!....

I left the movie theater immediately after the fight thinking it was AT LEAST 118-110.....ridiculous.,....if these sanctioning bodies had any balls....they would never have her judge another fight....
