Nigga, he lost the first 2 fights, it's that simple

If he had him figured out, he would've won them

I thought Marquez had Pacquiao figured out from jump bruh. It's the only way you could get dropped 3 times in the first round and come back to get a draw (I thought Marquez came back and won). We can't just go off of who won though as reasoning because Bradley won against Pacquiao in the first fight, which by your logic would mean Bradley had Pacquiao figured out, which we all know is bullshit.

@Wall‌

Agreed. Im much more a fan and appreciative of Manny after coming back from a devastating knockout. He's a warrior. And he's fought a little bit smarter since his comeback.

This is gonna be a good weekend of boxing.

Gonna have to catch one of these cards on dvr I hate switching back and forth between channels.

Its not that simple. Since you saying Marquez didn't have him figured out.

Please tell me how Marquez changed his fight strategy in fights 1-2 from fights 3-4

Oh nigga I'm watching the SHOWTIME fight cards live. I'll DVR the HBO telecast and watch it afterwards.

I think he trusted his power a lot more in that last fight. Whether he was juiced in that fight who knows.

He did not go into that fight looking for a decision he set traps for Manny that he for some reason he wasn't able to in the other fights. Even though he did counter him effectively in the other fights.

But he was waiting for Manny to jump in he damn near got him with that punch the round before I think. I have to rewatch the fight.

@wall really my dude?

Manny got robbed against Bradley

How is it the same

When you figure out a problem, it don't keep fucking you up

Marquez got dropped in every fight he fought against Manny so even though he "figured" him out, he still couldn't stay up

The last fight, he figured out a backway(in a sense) to winning a fight he was on his way to losing

I'm leaning that way too. But I do feel like Bradley vs Chaves has the potential to be a war. I think Alexander/Khan will be good but more tactical. I want to see thurman live though. Showtime will start first so ill be able to see some of it first.

Probably will just stick with showtime.

I hear you man, but to get dropped 3 times in round 1 and to come back and arguably win the fight tells me someone got figured out. Every single fight could have gone either way, except the last one, when Marquez KO'd Pacquiao. You act like Pacquiao was just dominating Marquez or something in the other fights. It was give and take, which is why the outcome of every fight was damn near controversial. I give Pacquiao his props, but Marquez has always been that one fighter that had Manny's number, imo.

Give Marquez credit. He came into the fight with the gameplan to KO Pacquiao. That's not something he figured out in the ring or on the fly. He spoke of it constantly before the fight. That the only way he would win is to take it our of the judges hands because they were never going to give him a decision against Pacquiao. He trained for that KO and it worked out beautifully.

To me he fought the same in all of the fights. In all 4 fights he hit Manny consistently with the right hand, countered well and even threw punches while Manny was doing his 5-6 punch combos.

I feel his defence was better in the 3rd fight than it was in the 4th.

He trained for the KO. Something he didn't do for the previous fights. He got hulked up, and worked on a game plan to end Manny.

manny was nice enough to let marquez eat real good off his name 4 times the first 2 fights manny won the 3rd was a draw at best and in the 4th marquez got the k.o. but i'll still say to this day that juan was on dem p.e.d.s.

Nice enough? Lmao! FOH nigga. Pacquuao had no choice but to keep fighting Marquez because Marquez was bringing him the most money. Don't get it twisted, if Arum had better options for Pacquiao he would have taken them. Plus, every fight was close enough to warrant rematches.
