On tonight’s episode of URL’s Battle Rap Arena, Beasley speaks on Summer Madness 3, the Math Hoffa and Serius Jones incident, the Daylyt situation, Loaded Lux not being on the card, the issues with doing PPV and much more. Below the interview, there is a recap of what Beasley had to say on some of the more notable topics

battlefix.com/2013/09/09/beasley-speaks-on-summer-madness-3-bra/

Beasley Speaks On Why The Event Started So Late:

Beasley started out by speaking on the Summer Madness 3 event, talking about some of the issues they faced with putting on the event, which caused the delay. He talks about the issue with security causing the delay in starting the event, because someone in the attached club tried sneaking a gun in, causing the security to become extra cautious and thoroughly searching everyone before being allowed into the venue. He speaks on letting the food vendors know that they needed more food then they had, but once again, they didn’t heed the warning.

Beasley Speaks On The Math Hoffa And Serius Jones Incident:

He talks about the battles that did go down all being well received, up until the event was ended because of the Math Hoffa and Serius Jones incident. He then speaks on the Math and Serius incident, and his feelings on the the whole situation. He talks about some of Math’s bars leading up to the punch, making it seem as if he did it intentionally.

He says that they will not be putting out the footage, and touches on the fact that the Dose footage was promoted, but explains that it was during the Smack DVD era, which was a completely different brand, with different goals. He expands by speaking on all the work URL has done to change the negative views of the culture in the mainstream, and how this ordeal could harm all of that work.

He discusses the potential for this to hurt their relationship with Stage 48, and the possibility that they won’t be allowed back. He also says that Math Hoffa is banned from the URL indefinitely, and that if he were to allow him back and it happened a third time, he would be made to feel like an idiot. With that said, it does seem like the window is open for this to change in the future, if the situation were to change over time.

Beasley Speaks On Loaded Lux And The Problems With PPV:

He speaks on the Loaded Lux situation, and breaks down how paying a battler $40K brings with it a bunch of other expenses, and why it wasn’t an option. He talks about Loaded Lux’s PPV proposal, and says that he didn’t bring specifics as for how to go about implementing it. He spoke on what it takes to do PPV on television, and the problems that come with doing PPV streams on the internet, because of how easily they are bootlegged, which not only hurts PPV sales but also hurts revenue from releasing the battles on YouTube.

Beasley Speaks On The Daylyt Situation:

He also talks about the Daylyt situation, the rumors, and the footage that VladTV put out of Daylyt confronting Smack. He explains that Smack never ran, like Daylyt has put out there, and that Day and Smack walked down the street and cleared things up. He says that Daylyt did not get anywhere near the $7,000 he claims, but isn’t going to put his business out there by saying the actual number.

He said there was no reason for Daylyt to act the way he did, because there was never an issue with paying the battlers. He then talks about Daylyt saying that him and his people “had them thangs” with them. Explaining that they were flown to New York, and in public in Manhattan, shouting in front of cops with rags on, and how there’s no way they’d do that if they were carrying.

He says that he understands that Daylyt is a self promoter and he has an image to project, but he can’t keep spreading lies and rumors about URL. He said that he could just as easily put out a video full of lies about Daylyt, and how that wouldn’t be acceptable, so it shouldn’t be alright for Daylyt.

He understands that there are fans who “get Daylyt” and know that he’s often trolling, but there are many people who will believe anything they see on the internet. So when he’s going things like this in interviews with outlets like VladTV, there are going to be a lot of people who believe it. He does hope that they can reschedule the battle, and has talked with Daylyt since the event and everything was good, but he also seen what he had to say in the VladTV video, and knows how unpredictable Daylyt can be.

Beasley Speaks On What’s Coming Up For URL:

He also spoke on what’s coming up, and explained that the card in October isn’t a full URL event, but a couple of battles have been booked as part of another event. He also talks about the AC3 Festival in Atlanta, and how it also won’t be a full URL event, but a couple of battles showcased on one of the stages. He says that URL has more things like this planned for the future, where the brand can be showcased on different platforms with bigger companies that have shown interest. He also touches on the Philly Invasion event with Reed Dollaz vs John John Da Don, and how they are helping out with promoting the event, but it may be in jeopardy depending on how Stage 48 reacts.

Makes math look either like a bitch or house nigga.. when it was daylyt he said how he ain't wanna mess up the evemt and how all the white people at youtube were there.. and he slump serius over something dumber than gettin water poured on you? Smack who got the nigga started? Man fuck math, his boring bars, flow and performance..

So many leagues are giving Rex money. Can't get mad at his hustle but IDK why they'd want him. Most of his battles are interchangeable...nothing different or special about them. That Peshy dude was barely aiight but he beat Rex. I don't think Rex cares though, he'll just run with the "I killed him" rhetoric. Nothing is judged officially.

Don't forget he's got that new bar.. he does a least once during a battle usually in the 2nd or 3rd round .. He steps towards the nigga during the battle.. and says real loud with that goofy stare on his face "I'm NOT MOOK".. After that he does goofy stare for 10secs @ the nigga he's battling.. Then stares into the crowd trying to look real tough...

40 B.A.R.R.S. sat down with me, VladTV Battle Rap journalist Michael Hughes prior to Summer Madness 3, to speak on her creative diss track "F*ck Smack" airing out the entire Smack/URL battler roster. 40 began the interview with Michael by addressing some greasy lines she spit about Math Hoffa on the track and how she feels that "Battle Rap wise, I think he's terrible."

"That nigga DEEAD!"

"GET THAT NIGGA REX!"

I can't lie like I said before over the past couple months I got back into watching battles after a good 4 years plus of not paying not attention so a lot of these guys, Arsenal, Verb, Whitman Holla, T Rex etc I literally never heard of til recently and Ive gone back and watched all if not most of their battles. Until I actually heard K Shine rap I thought this nigga was goin for best hype man ever because of that "get that nigga rex" line lol.

Supreme battle rapper Loaded Lux stopped by the Sway in the Morning show recently to chop it up with host Sway Calloway. Detroit producer Black Milk was also in the building.

Loaded decided to take off over several Milk beats. Plain and simple this cat is nice without question. These two need to record an album, like right now.
