It started out with niggas battling for kicks and respect, since they grew and became about money. That's all good until you peep patterns.

Mook & Lux wasnt thinking bout battling anymore, it wasnt even until last year that they seriously wanted back in. So what happened?

Battle rap blew up, niggas like Clips was making 10 stacks a battle, so then Mook like "oh you gave Clips 10, I want 20!" And the shit is outta control now.

They lost sight of what this was about. Besides the fact that these guys asking for 10-40 stacks to battle only battling once a year and they not really making money doing anything else it's ridiculous. Also factor in that alot of these cats aren't stepping their game up for real. They show up unprepared, Clips quit the Big T battle because he was getting booed, like serious? You just gonna quit my nigga?

I feel what Cortez and Lux are saying and URL does need to get ther shit together. The poor decisions they making are minor and can be corrected, so it's not the end of the world.

Like Cor said everybody out for themselves. Look at the roster they put together for the URL on 106 tourney, all up and coming cats no names at all. Where were the names? Did they not want to be involved? Were they asking for too much?

Who knows, end of the day is that was a chance for URL to expand and they used new guys to do it.

All that said, they should have BEEN made the PPV jump, man even Grind Time made that move. It doesn't need to be a regular thing but good for your big cards like Summer Madness and Night of Main Events ya know?

Both sides have a point in this situation. Past events have shown that Smack isn't the best business man (Armageddon getting cancelled, battles not getting released etc) and he needs to do a better job speeding up events (no don demarcos, time limits, better crowd control)

But at the same time niggas needed to get called out for the shit they were doing. Clips, Shine, Math and more have admitted they didn't even write 3 rounds after getting paid to do so and Lux did choke in the first so it's not like Smack was lying.

URL shouldn't even think about PPV till they start putting out better quality of cards

Plus, far as the PPV shit, he kept it real...Sure, KOTD does it...Sure, the fans appreciate it...But I can guarantee that for every dedicated, genuine, @LouCypher typa KOTD fan...There are 5-10 casual, I'm only watchin cause someone I like is on this card @a1000miles typa KOTD fan who will jump on the first chance to watch the bootlegs...Smack just ain't tryna do it if he know more niggas gon watch it for free than the ones payin for it on the same night...
