With over 40 battle events already booked, we’ll be taking a look at upcoming battles in the month of September 2013. With so many battle events taking place, it can be hard to keep up, so we’ll be highlighting some of the more high profile battles from the upcoming month. While most of the attention will obviously be on URL’s Summer Madness 3, there are also some battles worth looking out for from other leagues. You can also take a look at our events page, for flyers from all of the upcoming battles in the month of September, as well as flyers for events in the months to come.
Upcoming Battles In The Month Of September 2013
On September 1st, Scheme Street held their Dead End 2 event, which featured M. Ciddy vs Mark Miner, JC vs Ceph Deezy and Brock vs Gambitt. By all accounts, the event was a huge success, and there will be three quality battles that people should watch out for, when they get released.
URL’s Summer Madness 3 takes place on September 8th, and will obviously be taking up most of the attention in the world of battle rap this month. Despite the lack of promotion, and the controversy surrounding the event, this will likely end up being the best Summer Madness to date, when it comes to the quality of battles. With a card featuring T-Rex vs Calicoe, Big T vs O-Red, Math Hoffa vs Serius Jones, Arsonal vs K-Shine, JC vs John John Da Don, Tay Roc vs Ill Will, Daylyt vs Swave Sevah and Jaz The Rapper vs Ms Hustle, you can expect quite a few potential classics in the weeks to come.
As far as King Of The Dot, most of the attention has turned towards the upcoming Battle Of The Bay 6 event in October, but KOTD will also be hosting the semi-finals of the Ground Zero Grand Prix throughout September. Step Easy vs Wize Guy will be taking place in Toronto on September 7th, and Megadef will be facing DDSS in Vancouver on September 19th. Also on the Vancouver card, is Pigsty vs A-Class in the main event, which is sure to entertain.
iBattle Worldwide will be holding their TO2: Dominance event in Connecticut on September 14th, which features an amazing card. People can look forward to Dirt vs Bender, Lotta Zay vs Brixx Belvy, Daylyt vs Cityy Towers, Cortez vs K-Kendle, M. Ciddy vs PH and Blackheart Adonis vs Luciano Crakk, just to name a few. The event features 17 battles in total, and there’s quite a few other potentially great battles on the card.
Outside of that, you can also expect Daylyt vs Getcha from the State Of Emergency event on September 11th for The Bar Exams. CheddaHouse BTV will be hosting RemyD vs Super Star Starks and QP (Cali) vs Tez Beastmode from on September 13th. T Dubb O vs AQ, Bonnie Godiva vs TIP, and GA vs Mackk Myron will be on GHOGH’s Dead Or Alive on September 15th. Voicebox Battles’ Death Before Dishonor will have Big Kannon vs Madness, Young Kannon vs KG The Poet and Cadalack Ron vs Jonny Storm on September 21st.
The 7 Cities Sharks event on September 21st features JC vs Logic, Tone Montana vs Squeako and Nuborn vs Superstar Sal. BlockCityTV’s No Sanctuary takes places on September 29th, featuring Danja Zone vs Spee Dolla and quite a few other intriguing battles. Queen Of The Ring will be holding their Do Or Die event in September 28th, with Bonnie Godiva vs 40 B.A.R.R.S. in the main event. And finally, Math Hoffa vs K-Shine and Head Ice vs E Ness go down in Atlanta on September 29th, at MC War’s Klash Of The Titanz event.
As packed as this month is, October looks to be even more impressive with King Of The Dot’s Battle of The Bay 6 in Oakland, Don’t Flop’s 5th Birthday event in the UK, and Go-Rilla Warfare and Black Ice Cartel’s The Awakening in Chicago.
