Battle was kinda disappointing, now I see why everybody that was there said that NOME was not as good as expected.

Magic got that 2-1, even though he was kinda subpar after his first round, he won cause of Clipse traditional third round disease. I dont get why son always fucks up the third, what makes it worse is he acknowledged that in the beginning of the round and still fucked up in the end and had to rely on rambling freestyles with no substance. His first was amazing tho and he got that one even Magic came with it too.

First round was fire from both but they lost the crowd with their second rounds, and in the third the energy in the building had died down.

Also what had me vexed is Clips talking about, "I invented that line!" when Magic said the shit about ring girls and stretch marks. I was like, "Really? He doesn't understand flips now. OK..."

Honestly, Clips need to go back to the Proving Ground for this shit. He used every excuse in the world to talk in this battle, fucked up on Bigg K levels, and had light bars. I was dead when he did that, "I knew y'all wouldn't get that, so... *flips it* and I knew that wouldn't be got either." Dude went 50 Tyson on 'em.

I listened. It is possible that his was inspired by hers. I'll have to hear his again. I remember hearing his and wondering why he said some of the months out of order.

And QOTR moves too slowly. They need time limits. And these battles are sounding more and more like conversations that rhyme. I think it's fine to switch into that mode for certain portions of the battle, but the whole battle shouldn't sound like a slow moving rhyming conversation IMO. Not many people kick it into overdrive nowadays. Everybody wants reassurance every four bars like they're insecure.

He was doing it the whole battle but he went overboard in the 3rd. Every line of B Magic's the crowd he'd start with the "That's not that nice" or "You said that". Nigga shut the fuck up and let that nigga do his thing. Nobody was saying shit while he spit those mediocre "So I googled it" bars
