Battle rap fans I have a few questions

Whats your.favorite battle of all time?

imma have to say loaded lux vs calicoe, lux took it to a new level and I never get tired of seeing it. Before that dropped I think it was math hoffa vs aye verb, neither 1 of them in my top 5 but I feel like they was both at their best that battle and went back and fourth makin it more debatable then any other battle I can think of. That battle got me back into it when it was filled with wack white dudes makin yo momma jokes.

Which battler was you happy to see get bodybagged?

Tech 9 by dna. I was sayin he was trash when everyone was suckin him. He has no bars and his old man jokes not funny. Dna ended his career and I am thankful

This a tough 1, but lux killin miles with every member of d12 was dope to me especially since less schemes like that was used at the time. The charlie clips stretch mark line vs serious jones with the ring card girl might be the GOAT to me tho, even smack reacted like a fan.

I'll think about this and update...for now, on one side I thought Lux had this homeless retard nigga savage energy against Miles. His whole energy in that battle is classic IMO. Not my favorite as far as back and forth though so I'll think of one..

I typically like to see a good back and forth but if I had to answer I'd say Calicoe. Too much gunplay and tough guy shit. Not enough versatility to fuck with Lux and he was calling Lux out for a while.

When did you start watching battle rap?

I watched the TV battles in the early 2000's (Direct Effect/DFX had some and freestyle Friday). Also, I listened to a lot of battles on ARES before seeing them (Cassidy crushing Freeway, Mook VS. Millz, Loaded Lux, and Party Arty aka P80 (all beat Mook IMO), T Rex vs Un Kasa. I knew about Blaze Battle but couldn't follow it much. I had eyedea vs. Unseen on my ARES years ago. I watched 2 on 2 w/marvwon and quest mccody a lot too ...I'm rambling...

I personally think all these niggas are corny for adopting catchphrases, mainly because they're copycats. I know it's a crowd pleasing crowd participation thing, but everyone shouldn't be doing it.

DNA's catchphrase is wack and poorly executed IMO. It's like a crutch at the end of his rounds. And his punches are often forced struggle bars. He ain't really that nice.
