I dont get it, Im confused. Someone skul me.

How the fuck is big a GOAT candidate? Whats thz skillset yall praisin him for?

He aint top 10 lyrically speakin, hz got a poor subject matter, battle skills are average, aint creative, poor songwriter.

Flow and mic presence are the only categories he excels in

Man Biggie excelled in damn near every catagory of emceeing:

Lyrics

Flow

Mic Presence

Storytelling

Vocal/Voice

Freestyle/Battle (See video of him ripping dudes at age 17, something Tupac was not doing)

Wittyness/Humor

Shocking lyrical content (People are still debating his bars all these years later)

Sure he wasn't the most socially consious or politcal emcee but he did die at age 24, there's no telling where he would of went had he lived longer. Big was damn near the most complete emcee. He dropped 2 Classics and died. He was just unique in Hip Hop History.

Jay is the epitome of an uncle tom..he shitted on his people to get to the top. 50 did that shit too, dre did that shit too. no need for double standard bruh......

Jay has slowly been turnin hz back on his people and his culture. that shit is unacceptable.

for real if you need to ask why some people consider Biggie the GOAT then you don't even deserve an answer. research the shit yourself, look up the history, impact, sales, co-signs and open your ears and listen to the damn music and compare. in a genre overflowing with wack unoriginal emcees and 1 hit wonders since day 1 Biggie was as unique of a talent as it gets.

There's a reason MJ was KING and Prince was well a Prince. But I understand if people pick Prince over MJ cause of his musical talents with instruments. But to me, MJ was better cause we litterally got MJJ from childhood, teenage years, young man, adult, and middle aged. I mean the full spectrum. Also MJ ruled the 80's not Prince though he was right there. I know people that say Prince got a raw deal cause Michael was more popular. They feel he was the better artist than MJ, but though I love Prince. MJ was the GOAT, IMO.

Yeah I'm a MJ and Prince fan but, Mike always stood out to me.

When I was 1 MJ was the one I was trying to dance like, he was the one I would sit and watch his videos all day, he was the one that I tried to dress like at 5 lol.

I had the Thriller jacket, the Beat It jacket, The Glove, had me some penny loafers and I was MJ for Halloween once when I was 6.

Yea, "Purple Rain" is Prince's biggest LP. But "Thriller" released 2 years eariler was MJ. It just seemed MJ was on another planet. It's not that Prince wasn't talented cause he was. MJ just had us all at Hello at a young age and we stayed with him until he died. Prince grew on people but he's still an Icon and Legend. But MJ is like "GOD" status, the man just impacted the world on a level that Prince did not do. I love them both but I have to go with MJ, Jackson 5 and Solo career is enough for me to put him over Prince.

Story telling? lol yea someone else's life.
I don't think he even struggled.
He probably struggled to get into that Uniform he was wearing to his private school

LAD is good but not a classic it was over hyped by his death

yep. biggie was unique. anyone that raps about having sex with trannies, sucking another mans dick and fucking kids in the ass is one of a kind.

Biggie is a Top 3 storyteller in Hip Hop History. Slick Rick and maybe NaS are the only ones seeing him. Along with G Rap. Biggie went to a private school during his elementary years and public during his middle and high school years. Just cause his mom was a teacher doesn't mean they didn't struggle. You dudes act like Teachers make great saleries when they have some of the worst saleries in the U.S. Ms. Wallace of course is going to say everything was perfect and great cause she did the best she can as single mom. Also when Biggie talks about the struggle he also talks about his enviroment and what he saw living in Brooklyn. There was also a period when his moms kicked him out and he was living on the streets for almost a year. House to House, 1 room shacks and Tupac's Couch.
