The fact the poll ended up even shows me that both of these albums are universal classics and we should all be happy Tupac and Big blessed us with these masterpieces before their death's. Sadly the rest of Hip Hop didn't follow suit as these both are still the pillars of the Hip Hop Double LP. Me debating the sales of either artist is neither here are there. It's about the music and everyone remembers where they were when these albums dropped.

Both of these records have songs that bring me back in time and are tied to special memories in my life. I appreciate Tupac and Christopher for what they brought to the game. Sure we will always have heated debates about Biggie and Pac and everyone does choose sides. But I choose the art and at the end of the day they were both musical legends. So with that said, I'm about to listen to "No More Pain", dope ish from "AEOM". I work out in the gym to that ish, goes hard. Plus he flipped the Meth hook dope on that.

Exactly. I am glad they did before died.

"No More Pain" - Tupac

As for Big, I think people sleep on this song. It has such a laid back beat and Biggie rapping with Too Short was dope has hell. Puff was even spittin but I know Big wrote that.

"The World Is Filled" - Biggie featuring Too Short, Puffy and Carl Thomas

Nas did double cds with Street's Disciple and Jay-Z did double cds with Blueprint 2's Gift and Curse but they ain't that great like those albums.

of course he outsold big he released like 6 albums with the same lyrics with different beats and idiots went out and bought them so they could have six of the same albums over different instrumentals

All Eyez On Me.

I probably don't consider either of them 5 mic albums but I think AEOM is a classic while LAD isn't IMO. LAD has classic cuts but some of the fillers were kinda wack to me. The only song I don't listen to on AEOM is "Whatz Ya Phone #". In my (unpopular) opinion, Harlem World was the hottest and more cohesive Bad Boy release of '97.

But "Sky's the Limit", "10 Crack Commandments", "Notorious Thugs", "What's Beef??", etc.. are classic joints. It is a really good album but not as good as the first and probably overrated due to death.

All Eyez On Me started out with "Ambitionz Az A Ridah" and had "I Ain't Mad Atcha" on it. That album was fucking monumental. Hard to beat.

That's a linear thought and illogical, this whole idea of one rapper having an effect on another rapper is a bit presumptuous. Hiphop fans need to stop acting like there are five spots available in rap and no more than 5 can occupy rap top spots.

Truth of the matter is Pac and Big probably would of fallen off like how Wu fell off, Snoop fell off, Warren G fell off, Outkast fell off, etc. No one is immune to being replaced!
