Pac made that song,

"i'll probably be punished for hard living,
blind to the facts, thugz is convicts in gods prison
hands on the strap.

my favorite line from the song cause the beat slows down at that part.

this thread makes no sense because u got 2 diff type of emcees right here.

biggie was more technical, punch lines and stuff anytime someone mentions a line from him it rhymes and flow is good

pac was different he was spitting lyrics where u could tat it on your arm, deep stuff.

Personally i like both, if i wanna chill and relax i put on big but if I m going threw shit then a pac song is needed.

this makes no sense being that they
both were technical mc's but clearly pac was better in terms of rhyme schemes
etc like most rap fans don't even know what it means to be technical
unless u rap or know about rhyme techniques most rap fans opionions don't mean much to me.

well rhyme scheme to me means this

The rhyme scheme in a rap verse (or in a poem) is where
the rhymes fall in relation to other words or lines. In
a simple verse, the rhymes will fall only at the end of
each line.

biggie had no slant rhymes he wasn't heavy on multi's
and he would basically would rhyme all his rhymes at the end of the bar.

that to me is why biggie was not a better mc
then pac pac had slant rhymes he would rhyme more syllables in bar
then biggie and he would'nt just rhyme at the end of the bar he would
rhyme in the within the bar also.

Unbelievable>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Pac's as an technical emcee.

I will agree that Biggie overall was better technically. But you can't listen to "Blasphemy" and tell me Pac isn't top 15 AT WORST.

Especially on the HOT 97 version, it gives me the chills, til this day. His charisma and how he flowed was impeccable.

Hunt me or be hunted, three hundred and fifty-seven ways
To simmer sautee, I'm the winner all day
Lights get dimmer down Biggie's hallway
My forte causes caucausians to say
He sounds demented, car-weed scented
If I said it, I meant it
Bite my tongue for no-one
Call me evil, or unbelievable

Biggie Smalls is the illest.

because in terms of rhyme schemes.

i always felt biggie had better rhyme scheme than pac: Better wordplay, Better diction, Better delivery overall (and no i don't mean flow i'm referring to rhyme patterns) than pac

But like i said it seems like we'll have to agree to disagree cuz you're definition of rhyme scheme is pretty dead on to mine so....

It's more about how many rhymes are in a bar or verse, and for the record, Pac didn't outclass Big with multis, 'slant rhymes' or whatever.

One More Chance (Remix):
once ya grin, I'm in, game begin
first I talk about how I dresses this
In diamond necklasses - stretch Lexuses
The sex is just immaculate from the back I get
deeper and deeper, help ya reach the
climax that your man can't make
call him, tell him you'll be home real late
now sing the break...

Long Kiss Goodnight:
I make your mouthpiece obese like Della Reese
When I release, you loose teeth like Little Cease
Nigga please
Blood floods your dungarees
And that's just a half of my warpath
Laugh now cry later, I rhyme greater
than the average player hater, and spectators
Buy my CD twice
They see me in the streets they be like yo he nice...

Not to mention Big had the better flow, better wordplay, and had better storytelling skills. Pac outclassed Big in content, but that's where it ends.

And my point for rhyme pattern has just been proven

i can respect this because
at least u have valid reasons on why u think
biggie was better because alot these dudes are sheep and
are elitist and don't have a clue on what it means to be
better lyricist technically.
