sht is comical in my mind, Tupac's basic rapping ass would have gotten embarassed. Sht I love Tupac but I'm just stating facts.

Big was lyrically nicer than Pac IMO, but Big didn't have lyrical dexterity like Pun or Canibus.

I don't think Big could've made disses that were as viscious at "Hit 'em Up" or "Against All Odds"

Big had slick wordplay and one of the best flows ever, but he wasn't that much more advanced lyrically than Pac.

Pac stepped his lyrical game up on Makaveli, you can tell that he wanted to prove that he had lyrical skills on that album

He was to much of a coward, so we will never know

he had many months to try, instead he was on the phone asking Nas for his help

i wonder who else BIG asked for help

Sht I think Biggie was EASILY more lyrically advanced that Tupac, lol the nigga used to throw sublims like it was nothing. Vicious ass subliminals too, at Nas on Victory at Raekwon and GFK on Kick In The Door. Biggie was more crafted in that art of talking about killing someone and whatnot, Pac was outclassed by a long shot as seen on Long Kiss Goodnight

should of could of would of. biggie had a whole summer to reply to hit em up instead he chose a high rise motel in florida to hide in. the fire that Pac had inside of him wouldnt have been put out by no so called lyrical rapper. yall know im the biggest prodigy stan in the globe but even drop a gem on em wasnt shit compared to hit em up.

if he could of he would of.... cuz Pac disrespected him and went below the belt with fucking his wife. If that didnt motivate him to lyrically body him nothing would. ans subliminal shit dont count and is bitch made in my opinion

Let me throw my 2cents in this and this is coming from a 2PAC fan who have all of his shit u to End of Time because with Em on PAC's Life i wasnt coppin that shit and followed PAC since he was making tapes in Marin. BUT IM A HIP-HOP FAN FIRST

2Pac IS THE GREATEST EMCEE IN HIP-HOP PEROID and im not going to in to deep full details about it that's for a different thread. Look for the defention of an emcee, not only Pac can move the crowd but he had a way and command of words, he can make you feel what he say, he had the flow, the voice, the passion, the command, the Pen game, he can freestyle and he was a poet.

Was Biggie Lyrically better, Fuck Yeah he was but Pac didnt need to, he was a Poet and he's a Master of words and can touch the soul of the listeners. pac told yall Peep how we do it

Keep it real

Its penitentiary steel

This ain't no freestyle battle

All you niggas getting killed

With your mouths open

Tryin' to come up off of me

You and the clouds hoping

I mean the nigga killed Bigge on Holla at Me with out even saying his name

NOW PAC WAS A HIP-HOP HEAD and dont think for a minute he didnt hear that he aint lyrical, but PAC is an artist and a hip-hop head, Pac was evolving to be the First Total Package Emcee in hip-hop history. Pac had all the tools except he wasn't real lyrical, Pac came in the rap game with a misson on waking up black folks and using hip-hop as a tool he wsnt concern with being a Kool Moe Dee or Rakim. But Pac took his first step with MAKAVELI'S 7 Day Theory, The Nigga was becoming more Lyrical the niggas was using metaphors and similies and all that shit, he was into his next stage but he didnt had a chance to get there

Biggie would've easily beat 2Pac lyrically, but rivalries are more than a display of skill, 2Pac had a uncanny ability to get people on his side, an ability that coulda tipped that beef in his favor

Plus toward recording his Don Killuminati album, Pac grown lyrically, and was still growing...So lyrically, Pac wouldn't have been a pushover by the time he dropped a response to the diss track Biggie 'would have' released

'What if' scenarios like these are always hard to call...
