Play calling was trash... Quinn asshole got tight once SD started scoring.

Julio a fucking beast tho god damn. It's hard to be really mad at the no PI calls because that's literally the only way to cover him is to make him try to catch one handed

Watching Julio yesterday made me realize we might be watching the Goat WR in his prime he just gotta stay healthy

We need a DT that can collapse the pocket Vic and Brooks Reed are getting pressure but QBs can just step up and avoid em.

DT definitely has to be a priority this offseason. I can see TD picking up a vet WLB if Campbell doesn't pan out this year as a starter. He just looks lost out there. Seems like a smart dude though. Hopefully he'll figure it out. Sam and Mike LB position is good though.

I dont really know what to say about that game, I do have a couple thoughts on it..... Id be lying if I say I didnt see this one coming.

1. My worries about the Sanu signing seem to be legit. He seem to struggle getting open. They paid him too much money. TD claimed he could win match ups when we signed him.

2. Ricardo Allen needs to be replaced this offseason. Rather see Robinson Therezie get some more PT.

3. Offense let me down. 1-3 in the redzone and 3 points in the second half. I figured we would need 1 more score to win that game. Didnt expect the defense to hold up against Phillip Rivers.

4. Defense played ok at times, still not consistant. We got pressure and made some stops, but couldnt get stops when we needed too. I blame the coaches tho, they had no answer for those crossing routes. And we kept playing off the receivers and TE's on 3rd and short. Everybody knew the quick throws and crossing routes were coming.

5. Terrible call decding to go for it in OT by Quinn. Punt the ball and give the defense a chance. The play called was even worse.

6. Another terrible INT by Matt at the wrong time trying to force it to Julio. Ryan missed some throws and missed some open receivers Sunday.

7. And the false starts at home..... SMMFH

Hamstring bro, 2 weeks to 2 months. Free was the only rb left on the roster. Had to get at least one more regardless. I'm guessing that they like Ward and Ridley. They just want to find out who shows up on game day.

Explains why Collins hasnt played since he got back.....

The ultra-plugged-in Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is perhaps best know for his general manager and scout surveys that come out just prior to the draft. Decision makers from around the league leak info on different players and positions groups. The articles are considered to be some of the most reliable predraft reporting every year.

McGinn let loose some of that info in his Falcons scouting report ahead of Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers, and it doesn’t paint CB Jalen Collins in a particularly favorable light.

Two years ago, the defensive coaches didn’t want to draft cornerback Jalen Collins but GM Thomas Dimitroff and assistant GM Scott Pioli selected him anyway. If the Falcons slip after a fast start, Dimitroff and Pioli could take the fall and Quinn might be able to hire his own personnel man.

The Teflon Don-mitroff has been able to keep his job after countless screw ups, and McGinn strongly suggests he’s still on the hot seat. If Quinn and Co. didn’t want Collins, that seat is likely to heat up even more.

We’ve been throwing the “b word” around here perhaps a bit haphazardly, but this news is troubling. Collins was a very risky player entering the draft with both character concerns and worries about his abilities. He has ridiculous size and speed, but barely played at LSU thanks to inconsistency and some failed drug tests.

Every player is a risk, but a player like Collins needs a coaching staff that is dedicated to getting him up to NFL quality. He played occasionally last season, but tested positive for PEDs and was suspended the first four games of the season. He spent two games inactive and one more playing only special teams.

Collins is still a work in progress, but has been unable to beat out UDFA Brian Poole for playing time. That may be in part because the coaching staff did not want anything to do with him. If the staff isn’t bought in on his potential and ability, there is almost zero chance he can become a contributor. The Falcons have gotten no impact from Collins, and it looks like that won’t change anytime soon.

Dimitroff gotta go. Still fucking up and had another bad FA signing(Sanu)......

Well dayum, I thought Quinn picked him because of his measurables. I was hoping that he could replace Alford because his contract is up this year.

I know that we need a DT bad. Gotta bring in somebody that can give Campbell some real competition too.

Those are the only real weaknesses on defense.

On offense, we really just need an offensive guard.

Squad is dam near set. Just growing pains

Gameday......

I think the Falcons will get back on track today. Expecting another shootout though.

No Tevin Coleman but Freeman played well last year with more touches. Hope the pass rush continue to get pressure this week, Packers have no RB's so they will probably throw the ball early and often. Hope Freeney is a go for today.

Time to drink.
