I was a little salty we never offered McKenzie...I swear this staff sometimes can be idiotic with who they give offers to.

Me too bruh. I heard it was because of his size though which is stupid imo. If a guy can play, offer him.

Real salty about Michel though. Pro-Miami since middle school, took hundreds of visits, went to all the games, and then commits to UGA.

The thing I like most about our class this year ain't even the obvious high-ranking recruits. It's the "big paws on a puppy" type cats we got.

We got a couple of SEC-Country DB's that we got that look promising.

I agree with you, we brought in a lot of size especially on both sides of the trenches. DL we got some long, big and athletic DT/DT.

#Noles signed 7 offensive linemen in 2014 class. Average size: 6-foot-6, 312 pounds. #FSUNSD

Best way to keep players from flipping is to recruit them with substance.

Your system, how they can contribute to it, how they can get on the field (no empty promises), be honest with their parents and try your best not to sound like every other cracka ass coach that sits in their living room, etc.

That's Stoops' strategy. Mixon's pops had a big part in Mixon's decision because Gundy and Stoops told him straight up "the only thing your son will be given is a scholarship and a chance to play, the rest has to be earned."

If your recruiting pitch is just

"Look at the hoes on our campus." or

"Look at the city we're in." or

"You should just come here because we're (insert school name here)"

--- you run a higher risk of being flipped on.

Every school gets flipped on, let's not forget we are talmbout 16-18 year olds here. But what these coaches actually *say* and *do* on the recruiting trail means as much or more as what school they represent.

FSU jumped in and got Derrick Kelly at the last second. Dude would completed the puzzle.

Dude wanted to be a Nole bad. He waited for the phone call to see if we were going to have enough room for him this class.

I wanted Dupre, but I knew that was going to be hard. I think we at least gave him something to think about.

Didn't know Nate Dogg had a D-1 baller son too.

Signed with Washington (UW).

2014 Sugar Bowl... The Movie?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=ed66WxQpSmI

The 12:00 mark = GOAT.

Why you keep making me relive this game, between you and my coworkers y'all ain't shit lol

Helluva game tho.

The editing on that vid is what I'm pointing out tho. Shit felt like a documentary or a movie.

The main thing I like is how @ the 12:00 mark it shows that what we did to y'all we been doing all year so it shouldn't have been as much of a surprise.

Well damn, Spring Game just 2 months away.

Only thing I don't like about this year's recruiting class is that there are so few early enrollees.

We really don't need too many of them to contribute this year, but I like to see freshman get a early start.

Smh at ESPN trying to big up Saben for giving a scholarship to a player that won't play.

Like the nigga ain't over signed and gotta cut someone else scholarship.
