Lmao. The Celtics do NOT have a better team than the Heat when both are 100%. Gtfoh.

And when all teams are playing their best (if you could manipulate situations to make it possible), there IS no better team than the heat.

You can have all the depth in the world. If the other team has a superstar (much less, 2 1/2) playing at a high level, they win.

@coop9889 do u know what team means nigga it's obvious heat has the better stars but Boston's team from 1-12 when 100% is better than heat they have more consistent scoring options and have a better coach

A Kobetard's worst nightmare

Either LeBron gets his first of many rings.. OR Timmy gets his 5th thus confirming what we all know is the truth: Tim Duncan is greater than Kobe Bryant.

Duncan NCAA legacy. Kobe Bench warming legacy

Duncan 2 x NCAA player of the year. Kobe "shaq's little brother" of the year.

Duncan NBA Rookie of the year. Kobe "Shaq's 2nd fiddle" for next 7 yrs.

Duncan 2 x season MVP. Kobe 1

Duncan 3 x FMVP. Kobe 2

Duncan 0 x Finals losses. Kobe 2 x finals losses

Duncan 1 x MVP sweep (2003). Kobe 0

Sucks being a Kobetard.

the talent of the heat's stars override the depth of the celtics "team".

Lebron and wade are both A+ players with a bunch of B- to C- supporting cast. While Rondo is a A- with everyone else B+ to C-.

Gimme the two A+s.

You can't have 12 players on the floor at once man. The Pacers had a deeper team than the Heat when they played and you see what the fuck happened. And clearly I'm right because the heat are up 2-0 and beat the celtics 4-1 last year. Basketball IS a sport where if you have GOOD enough stars (top of the league talent) it can overpower the "teamwork" and "depth" of the other team.

@coop9889 if that is true why did heat lose to mavs last year???

Because the two stars of the heat didnt play to their potential. They played like A- to B players. Notice I originally said when the superstars are playing at a high level, they will win.

how are you the best team, and you havent won a ring, how are you the best team, when there's a team in the west whose won 21 (or 20) str8 games and played better competition then you, the heat have??????

Well first of all, saying a team is the best is an opinionated statement. And if you want to argue that my opinion is incorrect, feel free. Just know you will forever be wrong.

But past that, I can argue the Heat are better than the Spurs and can beat the Spurs because of the star power of the Heat. You can refer to my previous posts. Top-of-the-league Star power playing at a high level > a couple of stars and role players playing at high level.

IF the Heat have Bosh, and their big 3 plays at a high level consistently, they will beat the spurs. Period. It's a big if, but not an impossible if.

And a 20 win streak is great, sure. But you can't use a win streak as the basis of saying one team is better than the other. The fact that you think that is laughable. Say the Spurs lose tomorrow? Are you gonna say "well the spurs won 20 games in a row up until now".. so? Once they lose it shows they can be beat and the win streak becomes irrelevant.

@coop9889 your logic only makes sense if the heat superstars play every minute and never get tired and they take every single shot but since this is reality and not nba2k that shit ain't happening a real Team beats superstar talent everytime your witnessing it right now with this sas/okc series and saw it last year in the finals

@kacee139

We don't need back to backs when you're a winning franchise for 15 years straight... If Spurs go 16-0 its over for Bean....

First off, Lebron and Wade are averaging 41+ minutes a game. That's almost the whole game. So playing every minute of the game isn't necessary, but is possible, as shown by Rondo tonight.

Secondly, my logic isn't unrealistic, it actually TOOK PLACE in the Mia/IND series. Like I said, IND had the better "team" yet the star power of MIA won the series. Remember the game where Lebron/Wade scored like 38 straight points for the team? That's what I'm talking about.

As far as the SAS/OKC series, the star power of OKC is good, but not as good as the star power of the Heat. No team in the league has 2 better players than the heat's best 2.
