The Raiders selected Alabama MLB Rolando McClain with the eighth pick in the 2010 draft.
The Raiders have a habit of reaching, and they've done it again. Though this pick will mess up mock drafts, as expected, perhaps we should have seen it coming. They've been shopping Kirk Morrison, leaving a hole in the middle of the defense. McClain was far and away the best middle linebacker in the draft, and he'll play immediately in Oakland. Though he lacks elite speed and may be liability in coverage, McClain is stout run defender with a high football IQ.

Trevor Scott- had 7 sacks at a new posittion last year

Wimbley- suprisingly...a player like Terrell Suggs has only 2 more sacks than him the past 3 years

Groves- for depth

Shuagessy- played well in limited time

We have made some moves

Plus we still have Howard and Morrison.

And Rolondo McClain.

If we can get a good Nose tackle it would work in looks. Not full time just a few 3-4 looks.
