It depends though. Like right now im in a good place, i have options, im not even about to talk to anyone that is offering less then $65 an hour.

But a few years back I was broke as shit and driving rich people around in a limo for about $10 an hour.

So, back to the topic, in my current situation not even entertaining the offer for less then $65, but if im starving im taking almost anything to get by.

For the right job I would work for less than I actually do now.

Actually I take the back, my student loans have more or less forced me into indentured servitude so I really can't do what I'd really enjoy.

Depends on how broke I am/how much I need/ how immediately I need it

The bar is low, tho'. Mad low

A lot of different factors like cost of living for different states and shit

Like for me here in CA you need make at least 50k to live decent

occupation, experience, how is the market, growth potential, and ur current situation are some things u have to consider when talking about the lowest u will work for. I mean if I had no job and the only way for me to survive was working at mcdonalds during the day and burger king at night for minimum wage then I do it. years ago when I first got into the field im in now I had no experience and no certs. I got a call back from a company that provided growth opportunity and gave me the ability to shadow folks so I could learn a whole lot. I knew I had to be one of their least qualified candidates so I when they asked my salary expectations I went 5k under what I knew they were offering and it was an entry level position. I bust my ass for a year and they called me in the room and said hey u been doing great. we had concerns about u but we want u to know that u exceeded our expectations so they hit me with a 10k raise. that was cool but the experience I got there mattered more than the salary.

I'll work for myself for free because I know i'll blow up in whatever undertaking I undertake eventually.

Anything is better than selling your time/production to another nigga.

If I'm working for someone, has to be six figures a yr after taxes. Make them pay what you're worth @yellowtapesport

That said, what are you worth? What qualifies you to make a minimum of $60k a year?

As for me, I'm not taking any thing less than this unemployment check I know that.

Depends on the job to be honest. Am I doing some ol bullshit like filing peoples taxes or am I doing something like, getting my dick sucked for scientific studies.

Don't be jelly. You have to work to qualify for unemployment, I like to think of it as a return on my investment. :)

Personally I would only work for REI, so pretty much entrepreneurs and investors. I have a wealth of knowledge in the field. So much so that I can bring my employer my tax return and show him how much I make on my own with minimal hours. Which is way more than 60k a yr, way more. So if they want 40 hrs a week from me or more they are going to pay me serious cake. Because, I can do it on my own.

6 figures is not 60k, Katherine

Depends on the job and my situation.

Some shit like working more than 8 hrs, coming in earlier and leaving later, for 25 dollars more probably ain't enough (depending on how much I'm making).

But if times are hard, and the job is tolerable - fuck it.
