Under rated classic imo. Great acting, writing n storytelling. Actor who played the haitian dude did a horrible job wit the accent tho.

Noah

(Spoiler alert)

Wtf was this bullshit? The rock monsters alone pretty much killed it for me. Then noah was portrayed as a crazy psychotic asshole who was actually going to murder his grandchildren because that's what God or "the Creator" wanted him to do smh. And then ol' dude (think his name was tubel-cain) hacked his way into the ark, was hiding out with Noah's son and they were eating the animals lmao. He actually bit the head off what appeared to be a baby alligator. Im thinking maybe this was meant to mock religion. Whatever the case it wasn't good. Thankfully i got it at redbox for $1.

Lol as soon as I saw rock monsters I turned that bullshit off .

I didn't like this movie...didn't really like mystic river either. Idk I don't like how dennis lehane uses pedo shit as red herrings.

how you just gon show some bloody kid panties in a sink then be like 'jk! This ain't the killer!' The fuck???

^ as far as old school is concerned only part 1 gets props from me. I saw both 1 and 2 in the theatres when I was in middle school 1 is a def classic 2 forget it. watch honest trailers on youtube and see how absurd it is. 3 nope not to mention that in part 2 and 3 the turtles looked like ducks. I have yet to see the new film but i'm pretty sure it tops those two fiascos. i'm talking about ninja turtle. I should have quoted dues post

just downloaded the winter soldier on my ps3 I give it a 5 out of 5 or an A. it was like watching avengers1.5 i'm not going to do a synapsis on scenes. no I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it . all i'm going to say is the film is full of superb acting plot script etc. Anthony mackee Samuel l and scarlet jo did their thing as falcon. black widow and nick fury and there were a couple of nods and hints to other heroes in the marvel u. i'll say its one of the best marvel super hero film but I wont call it thee best because I haven't seen dofp or gaurdians of the galaxy yet to make a final judgement.

American people are so fucking great in cinema. I watched Breaking bad and it was dope. And i'm watching The wire right now and it's fucking dope too! Fuck french culture.

how are those French women?

The Fault In Our Stars starring Shailene Woodley, Laura Dern, Ansel Ergot, Willem Dafoe, & Sam Trammell. I know most of y'all have heard about this movie about two teenagers with cancer who fall in love. Anyway the movie's a real Debbie Downer and nothing you'll want to watch more than once. Ansel Ergot as Augustus was annoying at times and the whole subplot with the author (Dafoe) was kinda weird. The movie wasn't as good as the great reviews it got (although I guess it's hard to give a film about two terminally ill teenagers a shitty review). 6/10.

batman assault on arkham 5 out of 5. the best batman dc animated movie and one of the best dc animated movies. the action gore is on par with flashpoint.

Watched Vanilla Sky. Last time I watched it I was 16-17 so I could catch what was going on without getting too confused. But watching that now as a grown man that's been in relationships made that shit way more intense and entertaining as far as some of the dialogue. Dope film. Tom Cruise did his thing. Pretty much all the actors were on point. Prime Cameron Diaz and Penelope Cruz tho >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I just snowpicer the concept was dop

I thought the acting was good, some parts were kinda wild. The end was strange, but the cinematography was dope.

- Mother Of George (highly recommended. Nigerian story based in New York. Beautiful cinematography too)

- Monuments Men (WWII drama about recovering art from Nazi Germany. Decent but I didn't care about the plot)

- Dom Hemingway (Jude Law playing a Cockney safe breaker just out of jail. Hilarious and cool)

- Don Jon (Scarlett Johansson is the baddest white bitch on the planet. Period)

- Non-Stop (Liam Neeson as a fed on a plane tryna stop a blackmailing terrorist. Good entertaining action)

- The Canyons (Lindsay Lohan produces this indie thriller about a bunch of hip youngsters in Hollywood with dreams, lust and dark intentions. Meh)

- This Is The End (I laughed in some parts. It was decent)

- Syriana (good encompassing political thriller ahead of its time)

- Zodiac (thriller based on the serial killer who terrorised Northern California in the 70s. Directed by David Fincher)

- Surrogates (sci-fi action starring Bruce Willis. It deals with artificial intelligence and clones. Decent)

- Super 8 (JJ Abrams ode to Spielberg's 70s films)

- Trance (silly film but Ms. Dawson full frontal was a highlight)

- Force Of Execution (Seagal doing what he does best and Vince Vaughn as a crip gang leader his nemesis. B-movie delight)

- Last Vegas (Douglas, DeNiro, Freeman and Kline as four long term friends who head out to Vegas for one of their wedding but a lot of soul searching happens)

- Labor Day (Josh Brolin and Kate Winslet star in this slow pulsing thriller)

- Black Dynamite (modern day take on Blaxploitation cinema. Highly recommend )

- The Railway Man (Colin Firth Plays a WWII British vet tortured by the Japanese as a POW and his attempt at reconciliation with his torturers)

- Enough Said (James Gandolfini's last screen appearance. Fine romcom without the cheesiness)

- Muhammad Ali's Greatest Fight (HBO movie about Ali's legal battle against the US government regarding his decision not to be drafted to Vietnam)

- The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty (liked the adventurous plot of the film and a scene where they play soccer with some Afghans was dope and ironic)

- Escape Plan (Arnie & Sly for the first time as leads. Decent)

- We're The Millers (dumb and funny in some parts)

- Ted (cool concept, the story was corny though and it wasn't that funny to be honest. I was watching it with mostly a grin on my face)

- Her (production design was alluring but the story left a lot to be desired. It wasn't workable but Ms. Johansson though.. again)

- Two Faces Of January (watched this on board a plane. It stars Viggo Mortenson and Kirsten Dunst as a couple who in holiday in Greece get more than they bargain for. Brilliant)

Saw all these on my holiday in the Motherlan' over a month ago. Late nights. No electricity (sometimes). On my laptop.

You're Next

This was a fun slasher. When I first saw the trailer it really didn't interest me but I went out on @VIBE‌ and lou's word and wasnt disappointed as far as the action/pace

The Place Beyond the Pines

This film had alot of depth to it. A troubled man who wanted to raise a kid who he didnt even know existed just couldn't get right. A man who encountered him and changed lives forever. Who also had a tough time in a much different way being in law enforcement and having a typical cops son. His ambition/soul searching left his own child in peril. I highly recommend this film.

Godzilla

Glad this movie came back because the previous version was ridiculous. Honestly it could have been better more Godzilla less human character development. But hell its Godzilla check it out.
