They Came Together starring Paul Rudd, Amy Poehler, Bill Hader, Ellie Kemper, Ed Helms, and many more. Straight up parody/send up of romantic comedies, not much more to say about it, it's alright worth a watch but nothing groundbreaking. 5.5/10.

Barbershop 2: Back in Business - I loved the original Barbershop but somehow never got around to seeing the sequel even though it's been 10 years. To me at least this one was lacking all of the humor, wit, character development, etc. of the original. Just felt hollow to me. I know it's certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes but this one doesn't get a pass from me. Cedric the Entertainer steals the show like he did in the first one but is not as funny and all his back story seems forced. I mean c'mon he gets a free chair for life because he told a rioter/looter to leave while behind glass and somehow the rioter/looter obliged him??? Anyways hopefully Barbershop 3 will be better. 5/10.

Edge of Tomorrow. Great movie. Was gonna wait until the steelbook came out, but they changed the name(Live.Die.Repeat.) and I don't like the art so I went with the digital. Was hoping that 'To Victory' sign would be the art.

Movie was stupid af, but it was funny. Marlon Wayans is a damn fool. Cedric the entertainer n affion crockett were both funny. Lmao at how he kept fuckin the doll. N lol at how he kept talkin shit to the white kids. Solid R rated comedy, even tho it was silly af.

The Amazing Spiderman 2 - umm... I thought this was a good movie. I didn't like the last one so had my doubts but I liked this one. To me it was better than The Winter Soldier which I thought was boring, illogical with stupid action scenes and plot points and unfunny.

Boiler Room - classic flick. The Ben Affleck scenes are GOAT, just patch all these together and there's your all purpose sales training video. also love the scene where they all watching Wall Street and reciting word for word.

saw this sitting at 92% on RT which made me curious (will probably go down once its released stateside), plus it was from the director of You're Next so i went to see it without knowing anything much about it.

very entertaining movie, first half keeps you guessing and slowly cranks up the tension and then the third act completely shifts the movie into something else which will probably polarize a lot of people (the explanation for whats going on is loose and lazy but it didn't bother me) i thought it was a real throwback to the thrillers of days long gone.

dude in the main role killed it.

Electrick Children (2012) B-

Its about the quest of a 15 yr old Morman grl to find the father of her unborn child

Dope concept, enjoyed the acting, and i loved the visuals

The end of the movie was a bit too contrived for my taste though

12 years a slave. just saw it on dvr. I give it an A for the anger I felt through this whole movie. I had to fast forward lupita nyongo's scenes when the slave master lays with her and the whipping scene(too brutal). there was that highlight scene when chiwel took the whip and beat that devils ass with it. other than that I don't want to see another slavery period movie from Hollywood. that shit was infuriating and depressing. I saw the butler also but I gave it a b. it was the historic events that was happening around him and his family that made the movie interesting. his civil rights protesting turned black panther turned u.s. representative was the best character. I couldn't take a butler raising a black fist seriously though especially that movie poster. what was Hollywood thinking lol.
