Catch-22. Couldn't follow it at all. Gave up a little over a hour in. Too much dreaming and flashbacks for me to follow what was going on.

Departures. Thought it was great. About a traditional Japanese guy who prepares the dead for cremation. Forgot what he was called though. Don't think it was undertaker.

Flight. Started nodding off after the crash when they started with all the god this and that talk. Kinda long way to go just for a guy to admit he has a drinking problem. Remember dan connor being a funny dealer.

Super 8. Was hard to stick with it after that ridiculous train crash. Headon pickup vs ..10(?) car train and the guy walk away with some bumps. Don't even think the truck was all that messed up. Then the whole waiting a hour before you see the monster thing. Stuck with it, but it's not something I'd watch again. Was a badass alien though. lol@telling the black guy to go outside and shoot it with a dart gun. Pause and the look were jokes.

Season 1 Black Butler anime. Terrible. Too goofy for me with more than a little pedophile vibe.

The Grey

Good movie and story ...hated the ending..8/10

I thought about making a thread on how disappointing the ending was.....that movie was one step(scene)away from being a classic,I remember everybody in the theatre was in disbelief when the screen went black.
You dont build a scene up like that and pull a SOPRANOS
....That scene could of been legendary.

I never seen the movie "The Grey" but a co-worker seen it in the movies and they said after the credits ran it showed ole boy was still alive.

yeah he was laying on top of the wolf but it seemed to me they both was taking their last breath

Wolf of Wall Street - pure greatness, the movie I've been waiting for. up there with Casino for my favorite Scorsese flick

American Hustle - really enjoyed it, Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence were both sexy as fuck I couldn't decide which one I would bang first

The Lego Movie - holy shit this was amazing. I can't even think of a better animated movie I've ever seen in my life not even joking.

(Grade = B) David O Russell hot of his critically acclaimed films "The Fighter and Silver Linings Playbook" bring an all star cast of Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Jennifer Lawrence, Jeremey Renner and Bradley Cooper for this Crime/Comedy/Drama "American Hustle". Now the film is getting rave reviews and is up for several awards including 10 Academy Awards. I like David work so I gave it a spin. The film is about a set of con artist who end up having to go undercover to bring down some politicians when a Cop catches them for fraud. To be honest the acting was great but the movie itself kinda fell flat in the 3rd act. The Payoff wasn't that good. Also I have to be honest, the movie felt like a wannabe Scorsese Film. David has his own style so I don't understand why he felt the need to do a Scorsese Homage film. He's not dead and he's still doing his thing (See Wolf of Wall St.). Anyways outside of that it was decent. Christian Bale outshines everyone. Jennifer Lawerence did her best Sharon Stone "Casino" Impression. Overall again good but slightly overhyped.

carlito's way: rise to power

gave it a c-. was this playing in theatres or was it straight to video? although it was interesting to see carlito in his younger days the movie failed to set up for the orinals story. it left me with a few questions like what did carlito do to get 15 yrs in the pen? what happened to gail his dancer girlfriend? when did they meet? also I felt they could have gotten another actor to play a young carlito. there are a few young latinos that look like al pacino(I know a couple). although this actor pulls off al(carlito's) voice pattern respectively he looked too brawny for a 21 yr old carlito. he looks like he would cut a track with tony touch or the beatnuts. in short if carlito's way was gta 3 then rise to power is gta3 liberty city stories. a lightweight version of the original.

The-Act-of-Killing.jpg

This was a very raw film.. its just crazy how the other half lives.. i mean none of this was lost on me before watching the movie but to see it in such a gripping presentation is just numbing.

How impressionable people are of these "alien" nations ..to see the mindlessness/dispair/idolization/trickery that permeates the culture is mind-blowing..

it makes our political differences look like what it is.. playground arguments.

just check it out. it available on netflix

the master - complete headfuck of a movie.... found it utterly fascinating for some reason.theres so much going on here it's hard to take in on the first viewing....might have to watch it again to get a better grasp of it.

everytime phoenix and PSH are on screen together it's majestic.

Watched gravity last night, shit was a letdown I can't see the hype with this film.

did you see it in the theater or on a comp/tv?

On my tv, I can see the great visuals but the film dragged and plot was poorly executed, plus it was depressing and fucked my high up.
