Watched gravity last night, shit was a letdown I can't see the hype with this film.

did you see it in the theater or on a comp/tv?

On my tv, I can see the great visuals but the film dragged and plot was poorly executed, plus it was depressing and fucked my high up.

oh ok. i was just wondering cuz i haven't seen it yet & i don't really want to now since it's out of theaters cuz i wouldn't be able to get the full effect without a big ass screen

Seen Old boy a few years ago never saw the rest of the trilogy just finished watching Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance after the first hour im like damn what else could possibly happen then shit got really real

Bout to watch Lady Vengeance its actually on Comcast on-demand in the fear section just goto HD movies in that section for all 3

A Fistful of Dollars. Classic western.

Private Eye. A murder mystery. Started off pretty light, like it might be a Korean Sherlock Holmes. Got pretty dark when they brought in the childsex ring carnies though. Don't think anything ever puts circus people in a good light.

Veep season 1. Funny as hell. Hope HBO didn't cancel it.

Invisible Waves. Boring. Might have had a chance with me if the characters weren't so damn stupid.

Graceland. Dark movie. President likes himself 10-13 year olds and the driver gets caught up in it. Driver's a scumbag too though. Wife's sick and needs an expensive operation, but come on. Gotta have some kind of line. Should be warned there's some kids, or adults who look really young getting naked. Just in case you're not trying to see that kind of shit.

The Sword In The Stone. Still enjoy it and love how dark the animation looks. Makes me want to marathon a few disney classic on netflix.

Korean cinema is hella underrated.

awesome trilogy.as much as i am a nerd when it comes to old boy,to me sympathy for mr vengeance is probably the best film out of the lot....beneath the surface it's a real hard hitting look at a lot issues that were relevant in south korea at the time.

The Devil's Double .. Dominic Cooper nails both roles. To think Saddam's first son was allegedly a maniac, LOL

Mud .. On rental. Pretty good indie drama ..

Road To Perdition .. Low key mob drama by Sam Mendes. The cinematographer of this film, Conrad Hall won a posthumous Oscar for his work on this film

Just got through watching "Prisoners"a little over 2hrs long but throughout the film it kept my attention,it was pretty intense and was worth the watch.

Watched the Mitt Romney documentary on Netflix. It was ok I guess. really nothing that I didn't already know since I follow politics so closely. The best scene is the opener with him knowing he's about to lose, but besides that, it didnt tell me much more than I already knew from reading Double Down.

Constantine ..starring keeanu reeves ..

Based off a vertigo comic

About a guy who can see and battles demons ...it was good for what it was. ..good visual effects

7.5/10

In the past couple days watched Lone Survivor, American Hustle, & Her. All are worthy of the praise they're getting to me. Can see alot of non-movie nerds not being into Her so watch who you recommend it to. Scarlett Johansson's voice is sexy as hell.

But again Thank You to everyone for all your reviews. It's crazy to look back when I started this thread 2 years ago, it was a dark time for me and film really was a stress relief. So again anyone who posted reviews or views or commented, Thank You. Keep em coming.

the experiment

i thought the concept was great and that was even before i found out it was based on a true story

its a movie based on some shit standford conducted in the 70s where they had a group of people sent to a fake prison where they were randomly divided into prisoners and guards

its an example of how power corrupts how human behavior under stress declines to its lowest commen instinct no matter the personality the original german film 'das experiment' is said to be better but i thought this one was cool maybe because i caught this on a whim and not that long after watching the chicago bulls pull out a solid win against one of the hottest teams in the league in dallas

on the road by the way

but anyways having read up on the actual experiments im glad i caught this movie
