Hard candy .starring Ellen Page ..she plays a 14 year old teen who goes after a pedophile who has murdered a friend of hers ...she pretty much is a vigilante and I had no problem with the shit she did to dude .check it out good flick 9/10

I seen that shit too. That's a good ass flick

Good flick i slept on it.. I could have done withought the punkrock shit.. but i see what they were doing seems like they tried to broaden the appeal.. we always do this...

but the references were cool

I think the Scene in the record store was an Ode to Juice,The kids was like dude from The Wood along with Stacey on his Lou Ferrigno shit with the cameo as a security guard, and i think the prom took place at the same place as the dance,The scene towards the end reminded me of FRESH

Boyz n The Hood parallel with Zoe Kravitz character

Damn good soundtrack

VACATION

I saw this movie on the strength of the fact it reminded me of We are the Millers

it wasnt that.. shit fell flat as fuck.. The gem in the movie was the little boy.. that little fuck was hilarious it should have had alot more lol from him in it. Oh and Chevy Chase and his onscreen wife from the National Lampoon series made brief cameos.. It would have been much better if they made this Meet the Parents like and featured more of Chevy Chase and the chick but they didnt they missed an opportunity with this one. I was disappointed with this joint

" we probably wouldnt have gotten Back to Black, had she gone to rehab"....I watched the Amy documentary all weekend with that quote from her manager in the back of my head....I give this documentary 5/5... A beautiful yet bittersweet bio doc that shows her rapid meteoric rise ( her music was so impactful that we forget that she only released 2 official albums), and just as rapid downfall which ultimately resulted in her demise....so many lessons to learn from this documentary, especially the importance of the people you keep around you....also the doc has some studio session footage as well as some live performance footage that are just incredible....her live performance of What is it about men at the North Sea Festival around the 22:00 minute mark in the doc will stick you for a while ( I've literally been rewinding this all weekend)...in conclusion, I recommend this to all....just be ready for emotional gymnastics.

Ive been to North Sea Jazz in Holland several times back when I still lived there, one lf the greatest music festivals of the world imo. Gonna check the doc out

Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension - I Kinda Knew Going In That It Was Going Be Shit When "Spirit Photography"/3D Was Going To Be Involved...I Actually Liked The Series And Rather Enjoyed All The Backstory And The Creative Use Of "Shaky Camera" Cinematography But This Entry/Finale Just Seemed Tacked On And Poorly Made...The CGI Was Shitty And It Took You Out OF the Movie Completely...Not Only The Plot Seemed Rushed Like The Execs Were "Lets Hurry Up And Tie Up These Loose Ends These Movies Aint Making Money No More"

The Ending Was Completely Unsatisfying ...Like LOST...Remember LOST?

Dope - Saw This Not Too Long Ago...SLAMMIN Soundtrack..Great Perfomances All Around..Especially Sheimik Moore..I Hope I See Him In More Things...He Has Great Screen Presence...Really Good Cinematography...Easily On Par With Any Classic "Coming OF Age" Movies Out There..I Loved The End Credits As Well'

Oh Yeah FUCK LOST

On my rental list.. Spanish action/dark comedy about street life and brothels. It had a pulp like feel to it. I recommend it

Predator - yo whatever happened to my nigga Bill Duke? Anyway I'm nostalgic on anything 80s now on screen

Straight Outta Compton - first off I'm glad it was a Black man who directed this film. Overall it was an entertaining film and brilliant performances from the cast especially Cube. Jr. However, since the movie was produced mostly by Dre and Cube you wonder if there was bias in the script.

Dr. Dre made two albums titled Chronic and not once I saw him blaze up in that film.. .

The Zero Theorem - quirky sci-fi flick from Terry Gilliam (12 Monkeys, Brazil) starring Christolph Waltz. I really dunno what to make of it. If you like psychedelia you might appreciate this film. LOL

Filly brown starring Gina Rodriguez..about a young Hispanic teen trying to make it in the rap game it follows her as she weaves thru trying to make it and deal with family issues...8/10
