where they have played significantly better than on the road

it has to drive you crazy when you know hes getting a slider in the dirt and that hes going to swing lol

ive always liked him as a prospect because his ceiling was high but so was his floor

im not sure baez will ever possess a quality bat but his defensive skill set/versatility and random hot streaks still make him so valuable

yankees going to lose a bunch of key players in the middle of a playoff push due to suspension

ive seen more contact in a yoan moncada at bat but the mlb network guys are predicting that mlb will make a statement with the suspensions because the game got so out of hand — they are predicting 8 game suspensions all around — for the yankees that would include the three players that were ejected + sanchez and gardner

Yes.There's been times when he gets 2 strikes and you already know what's gonna happen

But he's slowly improving his plate discipline,he still chases but not as frequently.He worked an 0-2 count to 3-2 vs the reds wednesday night then hit a game tying 2 rbi single,last week bottom of the 9th had a great ab and hit a lead off double that led to the game winning run.He's making steady improvements.Another thing I noticed is when baez plays everyday he hits better(last postseason,russells dl stint).When he's playing 3-4 games a week he's inconsistent.

Baez has 62 rbi's kris bryant has 56.If he can lock in skys the limit and joe talks all the time how they've been working with him.I still believe he can be a better hitter than he is.I love watching duke play he does at least 2-3 things a game that has the crowd reacting.

Gardner and sanchez had me rollin.Sanchez pushed a teammate/coach holdin him back and gave a tigers player some rib shots while they were being attacked on the ground.He's definitely about to catch the hammer

Betances hit duke in the head he gettin the hammer.Gardner was tryin fight like 7 people and had 3-4 people holding him back,ausmus yeling fuck you to yankees players.Cabreras wit them flabby combos he threw.

And Fullmer Did NOT try to hit sanchez.That's how it all started

baez will have stretches where he looks like a big league hitter like hitting the outside pitch to right field then he will have games where it seems like he literally swings at anything thrown to him -- he needs to talk to rizzo as he is someone who has improved drastically in that aspect but thats a great point about not playing every day (especially for someone like him)

he is starting to shape into the player that his biggest fans always thought/hoped he would be

Baez is a stud, but Schwarber in the OF is hilarious. Reminds me of when the braves tried to put Chipper in LF. Anytime a ball was hit his way I knew there was a good chance that bumpkin was gone fuck it up. It could've been the easiest play to make, but that mafucka was gone make it harder than it had to be. So, I feel your pain with you watching schwarber out there
