from a business standpoint trading stanton might not be a terrible idea since his contract is so backloaded

but it would be a bad look for the new ownership group if one of the first things they did after buying the team (even if they dont officially own it yet) is trading stanton

i think theres decent baseball reasoning for moving him too but it could be a bad PR move

Kid can fly. I'm always shocked when he is caught. Totally agree about his ob percentage. His best year so far is just .321

not as good as the 2001 mariners (116-46) but better than the historic 1998 yankees (114-48)

be interesting to see if they can keep it up into the playoffs

he literally went down the line to worse and worse bullpen hand until the worst one gave up the walkoff

if you look at the box score it almost looks like it could be incriminating evidence for an investigation going from a mid 4 era reliever

pulling him for a 7 era

to a 9 era

who of course loses the game

its easy to sit through his managerial moves right now but when the games start to matter
