Processor power is between Wii U and Xbox One. It's a hybrid portable/home console with removable controllers and a dock to plug it into your TV when you're not gaming mobily. Will be revealed in the fall (September). I'm guessing at the Tokyo Game Show.

I think some games will be more open to getting ported but the architecture is so different that it can't happen for most. Let alone backwards compatibility. Guess I'm gonna have to buy a wii u after it's price is cut after all.

No sense in not waiting for a price drop now to buy it. I decided on getting an NX at or shortly after launch months ago. I'll get my Nintendo fix from there until then.

Folks been trying to make me get this for a while. I suck at fighting games. Especially against someone with the slightest bit of skill.

Wii U games never seem to get any cheaper either. Gotta pay full price for an old game.

If those rumors are true that its not on par with a xbox one than lol smh....Sony n MS about to introduce upgraded hardware n Ninty jewing it up out there..... Nintendo is turning into the Arsenal of the gaming industry...billions on the bank but havent spend any or appeased the fans in years.

I don't really care about the power as long as they bring quality games. I'm hearing a few developers are impressed with it.

My main concern is battery power considering it's a handheld.

Regardless it's a first day cop for me.

I've read that it will be on par with the PS4 at least. the Terga X1 has been out for a while and people are rationally speculatin' that the NX will use the X2.

The Wii U wasn't too powerful but look at Super Mario 3D World and the Breath of the Wild demos. Same with the Wii and Super Mario Galaxy 2. Nintendo seem to be able to push their systems to the limit, plus with the system bein' cartridge based, they should be able to make some graphically amazin' games.

I was a bit sceptical about the NX but the more I read, the more excited for it I get. From a business perspective, the handheld ting is a dope move to coz it should be able to play smartphone games, includin' Pokemon Go. Then it should also be powerful enough for core gamers. Plus the AAA niggas have reacted positively to it.

Goin' back to cartridges makes senses coz they're durable, can hold nuff data and can load faster, to the best of my knowledge.

Plus if the portable rumours are true, there's no real alternative. Discs for portables don't work
