Thread bump to say that a nigga finally got a wii u.

I became trash after not playing for almost 2 months tho.

Ordered a lan adapter and GC controller adapter.

Should arrive on the 12th, and I'll be clappin niggas on Anther's ladder in no time.

Realized how unplayable this shit is without a lan adapter.

Me and my dubs partner trying to spar and our connections went to hell after like 5 games but we continued on the struggle net for another 15 games or so SMH.

praise jesus this adapter coming tomorrow tho.

YUUUUUUUUUPPP online feels like a different game, once you cop the LAN adapter tho it'll feel more like the regular game. Nintendo needs to do updates to the online aspect, smooth it out to help minimize lag and delay slow down.

A good alternative is to go to stages that have very little movement in the background. Wii Fit FD and Miiverse (both regular and FD version) cut the lag down 30%. Other stages like smashville it's just too much SMMFH.

I figured that's what it was smh.

95% of tournament matches start on Smashville and duckhunt is my favorite CP.

Of course both of those were lagging like shit yesterday lol.

Anytime fam LOLOLOL I haven't played in a while but I doubt I'm far off. Last night was the first time in several weeks I even played Smash 4.

Probably sometime this week after 10pm or so.

Haven't been playing much either but SlayerZ putting in that work at Paragon motivated me a bit.

I think I'm still ass tho, but I can slowly see myself getting better.

LOLOLOLOLOL one of the many reasons Pikachu is top 5 :+1: after 150% you can DI out of it but I mean at that point you pretty much in the kill zone LOLOLOL. Pikachu can kill with that combo at 120-140% on the entire cast. Pikachu is nice wit it but he does require a lot of devotion to truly master.

Good games fam I look forward to more in the future, I told yall I was nice B) . Peach is a good main but I think you should consider ZSS or Rosalina if you like Peach. Maybe add them as secondaries. I'm maining Mario for now but I want to switch to Luigi as a secondary. That down throw to cyclone is just broken LOLOLOL.

I've tried to pick up ZSS for DDD but my zss is complete trash lmao.

I should have my dubs partner teach me Rosa just in case, but I picked the wrong game to solo main in.

Yeah ZSS takes devotion too, DDD is not very good so don't worry LOLOLOL. Peach is a very misunderstood character but she's also a difficult one to learn. She can be viable but you have to really really focus on her and also learn defensive play and your stages. Town & City can work cuz of how low the ceilings are but it can work against you versus the high tier. Smashville, Dreamland, Delfino Plaza are good stages for Peach.

Only considered a DDD counter because we got a local dude that plays a good DDD, and the matchup is like 70:30 DDD > Peach. Even worse than Rosa - Peach

She has bad matchups full of 60:40, 55:45 all across the top tiers but I don't think I need a secondary for anything else.

Our TO actually went SoCal rule set because he thought the stages with walk offs were jank, which is true.

I did the same parasol shit on delfino to him and he said fuck this.

And for defensive play, yeah i'm a little too aggro.

Hard to space with short hop b-air online and keep people outta grab range.

My usual counterpick is Duck Hunt because of platform jank but I'll try out dreamland sometime in tournament.

last month I was at a musician afterparty with all these white EDM djs........dude has a Gamecube hooked up...........this one fucking Indian DJ nigga bruh..........dominating us with any character.....but when he picked Marth........dis nigga was ALLAH, you could not touch him or see him lol

I don't think I've seen that kind of fighting game dominance since that one nigga with the doo rag held down Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 for an entire day off one quarter at Rocco's Steaks in Camden. He'd just kept beating the game on hard and choosing the free game prize at the end. I had the nerve to interrupt him for a match and he dispatched me w/ a double flawless victory in his sleep lol.
