well goddamn it then my tax dollars are being wasted. im not about to help pay for TI next car why should the government need to cut a deal with a lame rapper to set an example for kids. that what prison is for. the nigga is a fucking snitch. the government dont need anything from a black man besides a lead to corrall up others. If he was really sorry for what he done he wouldnt be bragging about it. his lawyer should be advising him not to speak on the matter but a rats a rat. and a snitch will talk no matter what first tip went from speaking to kids before he got locked up to declaring the return of the trap and prison making him worse. sorry i dont buy that excuse.

Seriously bruh, your in denial. Somethings are just about common sense & reasoning. Think about how big of a reduction that this dude got and for what reason?? He claims that he's doing shit so that's why he got the deal that he got. Well what exactly has he done?? He's still making the same negative music that reaches far-more ears & minds than does the speeches & apperances he makes delivering positive messages.

I work around attorneys, many of which have handled federal cases & I've given a few of them T.I.'s scenerion (multi-felon arrested red-handed for machine guns & silencers while on felony probation, etc.) and out of the 3 or for that I spoke with all of them said that the sentence that he received without cooperating with federal prosecutors was impossible because the feds had no reason to reduce charges with his record being the way that it was, he was busted red-handed, and the sentencing guidlines would never allow for such a lite sentence.

You say you need proof, but sometimes the proof is right in front of you, but if you don't want to use the smallest amount of reasoning you allow it to pass you by. I know several dudes that are doing 5-8 years or more on posession of a fire arm by a felon charge and all they had was 1 shitty regular pistol and these dudes records were nowhere near as fucked-up as T.I.'s. All I'm saying is if it looks like a duck & quacks like a duck then it's a duck. You don't need proof that it's raining outside when you hear it on your roof. Anybody who knows the least little bit about the streets, gun laws, crime & punishment will say that T.I. did something other than simply be the luckiest nigga alive to get the deal that he got. Again, he would not have been eligible for a sentence reduction of this magnitude regardless of what he could "do for the community" because of his record & because of the sentencing guidelines.

your being very generous by saying 10%, because he would've gotten at least 20 years & dude only did about 7 months inside. That's more like 3.5%. Either way, the shit is unheard of....especially without cooperating.

This was federal so it would be the same anywhere in the country, but this is not what the average person who refused to cooperate would get. Every dude that I know that had 1 or 2 felonies that got caught with a gun did anywhere from 5 to 8 years. I have a friend who's in right now who has 3 felonies & he's doing 7 years off of 1 rifle (not an AK either). It's just really impossible for T.I. to have gotten off like this without cooperating regardless of how you try to give him the benefit of the doubt. Some people just don't want to accept it, but if this was Killa-K from around the way who got busted and got the same deal niggaz would never doubt that he was a snitch!!

Co-sign. I try to explain this to these guys. His attorneys would've definitely made sure that how ever he helped them (feds) it would be sealed for his safety & to save his career. That's were his high dollar attorneys came in at, but they didn't do anything magical to get T.I. off. It was as simple as this from the prosecutors "either give me something bigger than your shit or got to prison for a long time!"
