I am starting to get tied of all these heroes having some type of assistant/sidekick that knows their identity. DC is doing it the most. It's like how many times are they going to use the same formula?

Oh and Super smash, but pass on the show

secret identities, like true secret identities, are a thing of the past apparently. DC probably thinks that the audience is too smart for them now. Maybe theyre right.

Look at the avengers. Do ANY of them have a secret identity really? Lois Lane figured out who Superman was in like 45 minutes in MoS.

I hated how Cap kept taking his helmet off,but I am speaking more of the formula of having someone else who does not also have a secret identity knowing about it.I mean it does not even make sense within the movies world for their identity to be known to so many people as villains can just roll up and attack them when they least expect it.That Lois shit was dumb as hell and actually ruined the dynamic of him being Clark Kent. You are right though.

I'll give it a watch. Shit I thought Flash was the lighter show between Arrow and Flash. This looks way more on the lighter side than Flash.

im sorry to say this, but this looks terribad

netflix has upped the bar to a level that i dont think will be reached for a long time.

Daredevil proved that once you can get away from the red tape of these big tv studios, you can still make a great show and stay true to the source material or at least as close as possible. Its easier to tell a story when you have 50 min of uninterrupted time vs a 40 min show with commercials

look at how bad the walking dead is. This is a show that needs to stay close to the source material but b/c its on tv, they have to cater to dumb shit for sponsors like putting a 2012 Hyndaui in a show that takes place in 2010

jesus christ, how many people did she tell about her superpowers in that trailer ?

shit looks like mean girls with super powers

I'm actually a big fan of this character. Probably the only poster here who has a Supergirl comic book collection and one spanning across different volumes at that; but after seeing this trailer it really didn't do anything for me. I'll probably check it out if I have time but i'm not anticipating it in anyway either.

I don't know if you still read comic books. I remember you got into them through this forum and even changed your screen name to your current one during Infinite Crisis but that was like a decade ago and it seems from your posts like you really don't read comic books anymore. But it's funny you bring up secret identities in he DCU. This is from the prologue to the next big Superman arc that starts next month.

Why did Lois tell his secret? I haven't followed in awhile.

That's the plot.

Like I said before the story begins next month. I know as much as you do right now.

Not a fan of the character...she seems like pointless. The show doesn't look like anything I'd watch either. So I'm gonna pass on this, I may watch one or two eps just to be fair.
