I am transparent and honest with you folks. I tell it like it is because there is no reason to front. I mean for what? Whats the point to front on the internet? You people need to get a clue. I fear God. i fear Him and reverence Him. Why? Because I love Him. And because I love Him I keeps it real. One day I will stand before my creator, JUST LIKE ALL OF US WILL, and I will be accounted righteous in His sight because I believed on the one whom He sent. Hallelujah. Now if you don't want to live forever in peace and love, so be it. But I will not stop proclaiming the goodness of our Lord Jesus Christ, because I know He can and will change the hearts of anybody who is willing to have a makeover. I am a living testament. If God can take a wretched sinner like me who is a former drug addict, drunkard, thief, pathological liar, whore monger, swindler, adulterer, etc. and make him into a new creation in Christ, there is hope for anybody.

The last day will declare who was right and who was wrong. And the ironic thing about that statement is, I already know the answer. HALLELUJAH! Glory to God!

in his defense i do think its pretty lame to attack dou's past drug addiction. that has nothing to do with him now

well, drugs have been known to kill brain cells and have an effect on ones intelligence. So one could come to the conclusion that his past drug use contributed to his current mental state and his irrational belief in God

You are right my brother, if I didn't have the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior I would be out of control. Just look at the world in which we live, this is the kind of world you get when you don't have the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior. I would still be dead in my trespasses and sins with a 1st class ticket to the lake of fire. But thank God for His grace and mercy. The goodness of God is amazing. He is long suffering, not willing that anybody should perish (me), but that all should come to repentance and faith in Him. I thank the Lord that He didn't close the door on my life but yet He waited for me to come to a knowledge of the truth. I give Him glory my brother. God bless.

LOL the funny part is you still got a crackhead mentality...only now you're addicted to your need to worship someone who has no concrete control over your life, versus earlier it was a bunch of rocks that ruled your life. "Smarten up Naaaaaas"

Damn DoUWannaGoToHeaven.....

You was young crackhead? How the fuck u get addicted to crack/cocaine?

Anyways, all u did was suppliment your addiction with another addiction, you need to control your own life instead of looking for outside influences such as drugs or religion because its the same hole youre filling with that line of thinking

And its not very christlike to diss a cripple

Really?

Its has clearly affected him mentally, i've never once come across someone so brainwashed, all them drugs must have wiped out a couple brain cells.

Well he said it was Satan that cause him to do it, maybe he should have just payed an exorcist to cast out the demon. Then he has a mind thats clear enough to avoid drugs and not cover up one addiction with the others.

I was under the impression that Stephen Hawking did in fact believe in God...but if u read the original post in here, one can see just how ambiguous (the post itself) is...ah well...

This...

Hawkings in an article a few months ago said he did believe in God and God did indeed create all this then turns around and say well, there's no need for God to do this. ?? Confusing.

When you have been to the pit and have experienced the dregs of this world, I can't help but to boast of the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. HE SAVED ME FROM DESTRUCTION. Woe is me if I preach not the gospel my friend.

I wasn't actually a crack head, as in literally smoking rocks from a pipe. I was a coke head, I sniffed 8 balls daily. How I got hooked? well after doing the drug every weekend when I would party, I slowly started to get addicted to the high and when that happened I started sniffing lines during the week. And sure enough I was hooked and nothing else mattered by snorting coke. It was awful. I almost lost everything, including my life. But thank God for His grace and mercy. HALLELUJAH!

Its better to be a religion addict than a cocaine addict, relatively speaking, but the case may be, the only thing keeping him from drugs is religion, rather than his own rationale and will, which leaves him vulnerable to any other influence which potentially comes along

And as far as the thread topic, stephen hawking is flip flopping, like Vibe86 said, a few months ago hawking said he believed in god, and now he changes his position

I dont want to make light of hawking's physical situation, but somebody like that would think that its possible there is no god, look at him, one of the most intelligent humans on the planet yet he cant even move, and rather than blame his own genetics, he would prolly claim that he accomplished everything he did mentally through his own determination, when its god who enabled him to have his mind in the first place

He could easily be as handicapped mentally as he is physically, he should be the first person who believes in god, so wait a couple months and he'll change his stance again

He said that in his 1988 book I'm pretty sure, that's the article that was on this website was posted from.

But in this article he still doesn't say he don't believe. He said that the universe could have been created without a God.
