Really?

Its has clearly affected him mentally, i've never once come across someone so brainwashed, all them drugs must have wiped out a couple brain cells.

Im not brainwashed. I'm blood washed in the blood the lamb. Hallelujah!

"Blessed are they that wash their robes in the blood of the Lamb: that they may have a right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city." Revelation 22:14

I'm going to heaven, how bout you?

i thought so too...must be that juice...I don't remember dou using the "n" word...maybe he has in the past, but it was the first time i've noticed it.

I had a slip of the tongue. I am a sinner. And I have asked God for forgivness. I also ask the IC for forgiveness for the foul language that I have used.

Wow it's funny how people will believe reused stolen messiahs and possibly inspired men from thousands of years ago who didn't even know the earth was round. Giving what this cripple guy knows vs what those ancient guys knew, they would think he was a god.

Smh @ a god who would ether and kick dirt on a cripple guy..........oh I forgot we are talking about the bible god.

"It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:" Isaiah 40:22

The ancients knew the earth was round my friend. Isaiah recorded the above passage almost 3,000 years ago my friend. Thank you, come again.

I wasn't actually a crack head, as in literally smoking rocks from a pipe. I was a coke head, I sniffed 8 balls daily. How I got hooked? well after doing the drug every weekend when I would party, I slowly started to get addicted to the high and when that happened I started sniffing lines during the week. And sure enough I was hooked and nothing else mattered by snorting coke. It was awful. I almost lost everything, including my life. But thank God for His grace and mercy. HALLELUJAH!

OK....to me, coke isnt better than crack in any capacity, its just a different form of cocaine with less of a stigma, hard drugs are hard drugs...Its good that you left that shit alone tho, but why replace it with religion? Why couldnt u leave it alone on your own? Why blame it on "the devil" rather than just rationally thinkin that its a bullshit substance which could only bring you harm and possibly even death??

So if you hypothetically relapsed, would you blame the devil? Or did you just wanna get high?

When you have been to the pit and have experienced the dregs of this world, I can't help but to boast of the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. HE SAVED ME FROM DESTRUCTION. Woe is me if I preach not the gospel my friend.

I find it sad that you dont' give yourself the credit you deserve for kicking the habit.

He said that in his 1988 book I'm pretty sure, that's the article that was on this website was posted from.

But in this article he still doesn't say he don't believe. He said that the universe could have been created without a God.

That's what I said he said, 'no need for God' which doesn't mean he said there is no God correct. But he DID say that all of this would need a creator or something like that. *shrugs* it's whatever to me, at first he says there should be a creator now says oh well there isn't a need. The brain washing he's going through in the world of science. SMH. Like I said, science and the bible go hand in hand (not 100% but for the most part) imo.

in his defense i do think its pretty lame to attack dou's past drug addiction. that has nothing to do with him now

but it has everything to do with why he turned to religion in the first place. most of these overly religious people are uneducated, emotional psycho's who were broken down by some experience in life they BELIEVE that no one could have made it thru if it werent for god helping them

no logical thinking person has ever turned overly religious because religion in itself is not logical

you mean to tell me "god" created all these sciences, and the laws that correspond with them, only to turn back and go completely against what he created for some guy who was on drugs, nearly died, started crying and decided to change?? but then in the same sentence ... they say god doesnt need us we need him. then if you ask them to elaborate how they came up with such an idea in the first place ... they cant tell you anything. all they do is post or recite scriptures that they cant translate themselves, that they dont fully understand, and tell you things about these readings that christians scientists dont believe or cant explain

everything makes sense except for god and all his actions LOL yeah iiight man LOL

I wasn't trying to justify that coke is better than crack, just clearing up the misconception of what drug I was using. But yes, it really doesn't matter to be frank. Like you said, "hard drugs are hard drugs".

I didn't replace my cocaine addiction with religion. That is another misconception. I was saved from my former life, by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17

Religion never saves anybody, it's the man in the glory that saves. The risen Christ. Hallelujah!

Also I blame the devil because he is the one who deceives the whole world. I was deceived into believing that my former life was all good. But little did I know I was on a fast track to hell. But thanks be to God that He loved me and He gave His Son to die for me. So now that I have trusted in the one in whom He sent, I have received forgivness of sins and eternal life. I mean I can shout for JOY!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHAT A GIFT AND A HOPE. It doesn't get any better than that my friend.

I said I blame the devil for believing that my former life was all good. My former life consisted of being a slave to sin, not just being a drug addict. When you are a slave to sin the devil is your master.

and your former life consisted of being a drug addict. It doesn't take an idiot to figure out that that life is not all good. Take some responsibility in your life.

And you're still a sinner Mr Vain.

Exactly no need for god for the universe to have been created. It doesn't say "God did not create the universe and doesnt exist" "it says, "He was not needed to create it" meaning there are explanations for it that don't include super natural magic.

And his opinion possibly changed as he has studied more and more outside of the bible. It aint brainwashing, I stopped being a christian and was not brainwashed into anything.

I think the ancients down through the centuries probably believed in a flat earth, with a ‘god’ living up in the sky.

This...

Hawkings in an article a few months ago said he did believe in God and God did indeed create all this

no he didn't

hawking confused a lot of religious people by talking about Einstein's saying that "god does not play dice"

and Einstein confused religious people by saying that, too

but neither hawking nor einstein believe in god at all

deal with it

I don't have a book of Einstein writings or anything so all I can use in the internet, but these are some of the quotes listed on the net that Einstein said, what did he mean exactly?

"I want to know God's thoughts; the rest are details."

"God is subtle but he is not malicious."

"God does not care about our mathematical difficulties. He integrates empirically."

"Whoever undertakes to set himself up as a judge of Truth and Knowledge is shipwrecked by the laughter of the gods."

Did he just say it this way to please religious people? Did people misquote him or mess around with what he actually said? What?
