its not 1960, but to think america is some racial utopia, or even equal, is way off. Did you see the cnn report on the wealth gap in america? Is that just a coincidence?
Where did that come from? I used neocons and pinkos as an example of antiquated ideology. I'm not fucking delusional to think America's some utopia. but it's still not how it was. To have this black and white(no pun intended) either or mentality is how a child sees the world. The most vocal people in the black community talk about the same shit they did 40 years ago when times have changed. I'm not saying we don't have problems, but they're new problems. You think 40 years ago niggas gave 2 shits about a wealth gap? Fuck is a wealth gap when you can't walk into target and use a bathroom?
You aided my point fam. This whole, "If we don't fight for this, they'll send us back to africa" argument, which is what T/S was saying, is moot. It turns people like me off b/c it's overly dramatic and sensationalized.
Talk about the problems that matter.
1.High school metriculation rates
2. Loans for black families
3. Siphoning of wealth from poor minorities to the rich.
THESE are the real problems. Not fuck "Yeah, the government's trying to send us back to africa."
Gimme a fuckin' break.
