my parents had about the same amount of flooding your place appears to have had and at first, thats where we cut the drywall b/c it was just above/below (i cant remember) the outlets, but when they started getting bids on repair work, everybody said that they needed to cut it to the length of a full sheet b/c they werent gonna be cutting strips to just repair those parts
If ya'll still got the people that cut that drywall out, keep em on standby just in case ya'll have to do the same thing b/c the contractors WILL charge for that. Any demo you can do on your own is gon pay huge dividends when the money to fix your home start coming in
Yea you're rt. We just cut right there to stop the mold from spreading..we had about 10 people from my church helping. One guy has a construction company. He said the same thing. I believe the sheets are like 4ft. I was just happy to get it done quickly and not have to pay. If the contractor I hire wants to charge more I'll just cut it myself.
