so I had this arguement with my pops about this yesterday at work... He told us what's up with this dude he is so pro black but now he leaves his wife for a white chick so fuck him....

Am like so being pro black means you cannot practice intermarriage? What does him being pro black have to do with his personal life and or conjugal relationship?

I told him is bizarre. My pops (stepfather) is black and my Mom Hispanic. This man is very pro black but he married my Moms and had my little sister. Trust me when I say this is the best thing that could have happened to our family my moms is happy we have a great relationship they gave us our little sister I mean I could go on. Well my pops is Haitian and you probably know the history of Haiti and how proud a black people this is and let me tell you Haitian folks are true warriors when it comes to this but women or men it don't matter when you love some one looks and ethnicity goes out the window.

Jesse is canceled indefinitely, pending further vetting. Chrisette Michelle is perma-cancelled. IMO, the foundation of the outrage is far more superficial. It's not truly about a black man leaving a black woman for a white one. This issue was that many of these women were infatuated with this guy and saw his "average" looking wife and thought that they had a shot. Many women (and men) who claim to be "woke" subconsciously put a premium on whiteness, the closer to white the more attractive you are.

So you have this biracial black dude who made a pretty notable speech condemning systematic racism, with a average, everyday looking black women by his side and suddenly he's extremely popular. Furthermore, because he's "woke" and his wife looks like the way she does, there's no way he date a white woman, simply no way.

Now this guy leaves, and the wake up call was answered and all those women who put him up on a pedestal are pissed, not because they want to save the black family. Its because their "crush" don't like "plain jane" black women anymore...
