Other than Pippens rookie year Jordan never won more than 40 games. When Pippen developed thats when the Bulls became title contenders. Jordan was putting up big numbers like Kobe but was going home early in the playoffs when neither had the help. Kobe did make the playoffs before Gasol came to the team.

Btw pippen rookie year pippen didnt start one game and played 20 mins per game and averaged a whopping 7.9 ppg 3.8 rpg and 2.1 apg

Playoffs didnt start any games and averaged 10 ppg in 29 mins.Pippen was a bench player

Phil jackson was a no name assistant.Bulls won 50 games,Mike won Mvp and went to the 2nd round.I guess pippen is the reason for this too right?
