see not true, it did fly, it was called Bad boy. Hate it or love it, take big out and insert Ross, and you still got hits. With Puffy providing production. I for real, no lie, think Ross could do a Big Poppa and it would have sold then.

And I aint tryin to say Ross is on bigs level, im just saying Big hit that next level, with slick production and the team behind him. Why couldnt have Ross done that?

Cause Ross dont spit like Big thats why. "Big Poppa" wasnt the only song that sold Ready To Die. It was the actual album. Their's a reason Ross hasnt went platinum yet, dude is one dimensional

People who know the history of HipHop will tell you that in the 90s the majority of Southern HipHop artists were not getting national attention, Ross would have been ahead of his time and been the southern version of Raekwon.

Raekwon compares himself to Rick Ross.

As far as the C.O. Situation is concerned it wouldn't matter because people from the streets and within the industry know the difference between a cop and a C.O., and people that don't know the difference don't count anyway.

U gonna answer my question?

I did. they both were meant for certain feelings. See what we arent dealing with is a New York Centric style back then, NY and LA were the epi centers of music then, so those styles dominated. When the computer shrunk the world, Miami and the South didnt have to be force fed music that didnt exactly relate to them, and NY could embrace feel good music.

Did that clear that up, or make more questions?

wonder y puff cant do that for him now.....first off i really doubt that in 94 anyone doing anything other than bass music coming from florida would be accepted nationally {imo}.....if dude came out in the early 90's he prolly wouldve been affiliated with luke, lol now can u imagine if snoop and dre was also getting at a c.o on dre day lol he wouldve been laffed out of the game
