WTF at that one kid shooting and killing it's sibling after the force field was gone. I felt some type of way for a moment.

This show is good at managing shit like that. Like it did a quick change to move you forward perfectly. In reality, that shit was pretty fucked up, and I feel like a show like Family Guy would have tried something similar but wouldn't have been smart enough to move it forward in the right way.

Nah, half of family guys beginnings have nothing to do with the middle or end of the show. Infact they might even make light of the fact that it was forgotten by the end of the show. Usually their first and last episodes of a season have really good writing. The middle is usually random thrash

I'm not really talking about they way they are doing their episodes. I'm talking about how they would have handled a scene like that. In R&M, the sister was killed, the kid had a reaction, and the show quickly moved on to the next scene. If it was FG, they was have put another 5-10 seconds showing the boy crying or trying to wake his sister or having the parents come into the scene to react or something like that. The FG writers are good for dragging scenes on longer than they should.

"Hold on, lemme ask my grandpa he's a scientist...

Hey Rick are you familiar with Ben Wa technology?"

Morty was spitting that official "G" game this episode.

"I wonder what it takes to please you...that's the job I want"
