The crazy thing is the show is a comedy, but the underlying plot lines are so good that even when it's not super funny, it's still interesting. The Boondocks was like that too.

Yeah, I liked how the whole Mad Max scene was really a metaphor of how they were dealing with their parents' divorce.

Finally watched it. This nigga turned himself into a pickle simply to miss therapy, lol. Like, where does that come from? Who thinks of shit like this? Then to scavenge body parts from roaches and rats only to end up fighting a corrupt leader's crew to the death and befriending the Jaguar? All to get out of 1 therapy session?

Rick was low key scared of therapy. He didn't wana get callled out by the therapist and she made him look weak. Then to deflect it by using his daughters love and their share of alcohol abuse. This season getting dark as fuck.
