This doesn't make much of a difference. Repbulicans haven't been an issue in a while. The bill is stalled because of infighting between the democrats. They couldn't even get anything accomplished when they had the filibuster proof majority, so losing it isn't that big of a deal.

there's nothing i hate more than a politician who thinks that serving in a political office is THEIR gift to the population they claim to represent. well... okay, i hate Scientology more. but it's a close-run thing
