If he is a so called gangster then it is snitching. For regular folks who aint in the life then it aint. Helping the authorities to convict or inform on anyone in anyway is snitching for gangsters. Getting robbed or potentially is a hazard of a gangster. You dont testify under any circumstances.

For me & you or any other civilian it's different. Still dangerous but it aint snitching because we aint in the life. However how I was raised I wouldn't do any way.

Heres my thing, why would you live in a decent house with a decent vehicle and not have the means to protect yourself? I never understood the mentality of any man putting the safety of his love ones and personal property in the hands of strangers. Eapecially since these strangers are not obligated to protect you.
