Heres my thing, why would you live in a decent house with a decent vehicle and not have the means to protect yourself? Im not making excuses for no man. My point was that people should not put their safety in the hands of strangers, when they have the oppurtunity to protect themselves. That has little to do with any code of silence and more with people talking personal safety out the hands of those who have have no obligation (police) and putting it back into their own.
