And I don't think KRS One has ever had a song that cracked the top 40 but I could be mistaken.
Their album was top ten. Are we only counting singles? Still Top 40 shouldn't be the only thing that counts for hiphop especially in the early era when only the cheesiest acts charted. Radio, Video (tv and streams) should count too if they were on rotation. I don't think a lot of the singles we posted hit top 40. Some only made the hiphop and R&B chart.
