Wyclef wrote in his book about writing her rhymes early on.

Of course he wrote for her early on she was 13 at the time, he was a grown ass man, basically! He also gave her MC Lyte and Queen Latifah records to study, so she could learn the craft. However, the student later became better than the mentor, as she became a better rapper then him. It's what broke the group up! Lauryn became the nucleus/soul of the group. Watching videos of their concerts are difficult to watch due to the fact they were competing with each other.

Its one thing to teach a person how to write, and its one thing to write for them. He taught lauryn the craft, he was not her ghostwriter, she never had one.

Never heard of Snoop having ghostwriters before besides DOC or that DOC mentor him and that one album Ego Trippin where he was experimenting with a bunch of different writers but other than that I believe he wrote most of his own shit.

And Lauryn Hill rapping better than snoop?? -_- stop it! Besides that ONE great album she has, how you figure she can spit with snoop?? A number of people said Snoop one of the best freestylers/mc in the game.
