You should read up on the other books that were left out of the Bible. It's pretty interesting. Apparently, in the past there were at least two branches of Christianity. All of them held Jesus in high regard, but the idea that he was divine and performed many of the miracles he did really was kinda unique to just one branch of Christianity. That just happened to be the branch that the Roman power structure embraced and pushed forward becoming what we know as modern Christianity. The Gnostics, for instance, believed Jesus was just a normal human who understood how to tap into the hidden potential of all humans and become closer to God. They clashed with the accepted christianity of the time because that christianity which was basically early catholocism required the need for bishops and priests for a person to be saved where as in gnosticism everyone has their own personal connection to God. Strangely enough, Protestantism seems to be like a middle ground between Catholocism and Gnosticism even though by the time Protestantism came to be Gnositicsm had pretty much been wiped from memory and the hidden texts that ressurected knowledge of it hadn't even been discovered yet.
Anyway to answer the ridiculous question in the thread, of course God believes in Jesus. Now what you think God believes depends on your faith. If you're Muslim or one of the earlier Christian sects, God knows Jesus just to be a highly favored prophet/servant. If you're a mainstream Christian, God knows Jesus as part of himself.
