I don't believe in God just to believe in Him, I believe in Him because of what we have, how we have it, what exists. I do believe in the BBT, but not just it happened, I believe God created it. I believe it took YEARS to make. My belief in the "In the 1st day, 2nd day etc" was different in "days" to God. I don't believe it took a literal 7 days. However it happened, how many years etc I still believe God created it all.
To me you aren't Christian. I believe personally you would be better off gathering historical accounts from every type of religious text and historical text available and make your theory from it. The bible doesn't help support a big bang theory and vice versa. You have your own theories, you just try to incorporate the bible into it because you dont want to say "well the bible has some things i believe but the rest of it sounds like BS." My guess is your afraid of going to hell for dismissing its complete authenticity.

How do you know his disciples were buried in tombs? Could've been in a different form. If they were in tombs, then how do we know we HAVEN'T came across them? Were there supposed to be signs to say, THIS MAN WAS JESUS DISCIPLE!! I'm sure that wouldn't have happened like that. You don't believe in the Dead Sea Scrolls being found as in being some type of evidence?
There are also numerous books before yours that claim their own gods, with the same amount of proof, nothing makes your any more real than those.
Tombs have records a good bit of times, the disciples of Jesus would definitely have had names in books of places they visited that had people sign, they would have had their tombs labeled in some way shape or form so we understood. Do you think Jesus' mother would just be thrown into a cave and no one consider that hole special and mark it? The dead sea scrolls don't support the entire bible or even half of it. I have my own theories on everything.
@ The bolded, that's my point. There are so many books claiming the truth since the beginning of writing, nothing makes the bible any more or any less positive in terms of truth than them. So why follow that book and dismiss the rest. You can't consider the bible 100% truth if you label them as equal because they tell different stories of it all.

Yes, and all I can tell you as proof is the BIBLE and OURSELVES, NATURE, EARTH, SPACE etc. You haven't shown me there isn't a God and why. I cannot stand when someone like me asks you to "prove there isn't", and you say, "not my part to do so, you need to prove it to me". I see that as you cannot prove it period and you resort to that question to throw me off that subject. I want to know, how can there not be a God? I've answered to you the best I can, now you answer me.
I never claimed a god doesn't exist. But I don't know, neither do you, or anyone else, what that god is. People with religion try to label him as a thinking thing as we are. When the most logical scenario is the creator of all is energy. As far as we understand it is not created nor destroyed, but it needs something to manifest it's self into to become physical and capable of thought. To me if god is the creator, then god is simply energy. It all created us, through the big bang, evolution, the universe, all creations and advancements using energy. But again, could a god exist? Absolutely we will never know until we die for sure, but i will say I'm 100% positive the bible is a product of mans mind.
Again though, dont ask me to prove the bible god isn't, you make the claim he exists, it's on you to prove without a shadow of a doubt he's real, that it was him not energy, the big bang etc... that started it all. You can't say the bible is 100% accurate and yet say you believe in the big bang or anything else.

Correct. I cannot argue you here about other BOOKS. The ONLY one that makes sense is the Bible itself, the one we are speaking of right now. The "christian" bible is the ONLY one that makes total sense.
I'll say, things the bible have me scratching my head. Things are hard to comprehend fully. Things sometimes don't make sense to me but that doesn't mean it isn't true. I just personally don't understand right now, later I will when I study it deep enough.
What makes sense that is not in other books explaining how it started just as well?
Have you read every other book and studied it extensively as you have the bible?
The bible makes perfect sense to me taken as an allegorical tale, but personally I no longer can read the bible as truth and say well this makes sense and is obviously holding more truth than anything else.
