White people racism is slavery and lynchings. Anything other than that is just Blacks complaining or being reverse racists in their opinion.

Why do you think that is (it has to be extreme to be racist)? Do you think it's a defense mechanism or ignorance or something else?

Both

I honestly do think the majority of racism among everyday average white people comes from ignorance. They really don't understand how the institution has worked to keep minorities down in a lot of way. They are also tricked by the bad statistics that are often put out there to paint Blacks in a bad light.

Let's be real, most black people don't even understand just how deeply racism has affected our community, so how could white people?

Now if we're talking about the rich white elite, that's not ignorance. They understand the shit full well and use it to their advantage.

Racism is when you make decisions and have beliefs based on race

Bigotry is when you actively discriminate due to racism or religion/belief

Prejudice is the act of forming opinions based on prejudgement

Even those two actions are defended.

"We fed them, clothed them, gave them a place to stay, and civilized those savages. They'd still be in the jungles living some mudhut speaking gibberish if not for us"

"They were violent criminals who deserved their punishment"
