tbh i have no idea, i don't wanna say something that's incorrect, but from what I know, Lumumba was not a communist in any sense

US never apologizes for shit. This government gives two shits about anyone. But if this country was surrounded by hostile nations they would change their tune.

The US and his allies killed a well loved leader in Congo, patrice Lumumba, cuz they said, ''he was a communist'' which was never justified to these days, but to insert a real communist (mubutu) in the office.
well...

-the US didn't kill him;

-it seems somewhat inaccurate to call Mobutu a "communist";

-the station chief for the CIA in the Congo at the time talks specifically about declining to try and assassinate him

RIP Patrice lumumba and Kabila senior.

Mobutu was the biggest piece of shit of all time, his whole family including grandchildren and in-laws should all be totured and murdered in front of the masses for what he did to Congo, he fucked shit up real bad. greedy fuck

well The CIA had to admit that there was different plots to kill him because of the found documents but of course they denied that they were involved ...Belgium said the same but a few years ago they admitted to a "moral responsability " .We all can read between the lines

i bet it was a joint venture ,they gave mobutu the green light for the putsch and they tried to make him a puppet-Thats why he got so powerful and thought he was untouchable

...which seems unnecessary, since Belgium's "moral responsibility" relates to things like "hey, it was a Belgian aircrew that delivered Lumumba to Katanga and possibly Belgians involved with the firing squad." not sure why that has to involve the US.
