How dare you assume that? I have 2 children and I am fully involved in raising them, they stay with me 3 days a week and all summer. I believe both parents should raise a child, I'm talking about how the majority of black boys are raised by single mothers, so if there's no good black men, they should take a good part of the blame cuz they are most likely the ones that raised them wrong!

Also, from my perspective, I dont think the artical was placing the blame on anyone, for the state of the black community, in regards to dating/marriage. The artical was just pointing out the obvious, that they are a lack of good black men...not because there is a large percentage of black men who "bad" black men, but simply because there is a large percentage of black men who are simply unavailable to date. Thus leaving a surplus of black women to fight over good black, settle for the bad black men ( who will most likely ends up leaving her a single mother), be alone, date men of other races, or date women.

Listen, you quoted my post, then said black men dont believe in raising their kids. That is an assumption, a stupid one at that. You insulted all dedicated black fathers with your stupid statement. Even a deadbeat dad would never say he doesn't believe in raising his children. Granted, he may not be doing anything for his child, but beliefs and actions are two seperate things, use religion as an example.
