This is a really dumb question but, what exactly is a freemason? Are they like devil worshipers?

members of a society that started in the 1700's so deists could chill without getting persecuted by the church, pretty much

now it's basically a good ol' boys club

it's as dumb as religion but they try to make it look respectable by pretending to have secrets

true story

I tried to suggest to him not to do that shit, but oh well....

I also told em that shit doesn't frighten me 'cause I'm from the E, and I gives a fuck about some grown ass men practicing fake witchcraft.

Word.

But for those of you with Freemasons in your family, how has it changed your relationship?

my older brother worked in an agency and worked briefly (one night) at a masionic nursing home....place is for Master Masons in good standing from any jurisdiction ......he said people were wierd there and never went back..he worked night shift too...he told me place is definately evil

Yo Major Pain, decipher the meaning of this text...

masonic_emblem_chart.jpg

It shows the degrees of the York and Scottish Rites as well as a couple of other concordant bodies.

But what are these concordant bodies about?

What do they do?

When the average person looks at this Pantheon of Masonic Orders, one thinks they're all in cahoots...

*like, there must be a plan*

What is their' relationship?

LOL.. I dont know why you think it would bother me. Many bookstores have rituals available for purchase by anyone. You're trying too hard.

Supposedly, you took an oath to keep these secret under penalty of death.

Link?

You're trying too hard.
I've already summarized your cult as being no more ridiculous to me than any religion.

I'm just posting your shit since so many people are interested in it.

You call it an oath, we call it an obligation. We can split hairs about it all day, but the truth of the matter is the penalties are symbolic and not actually practiced. You apparently take it more serious than I do.

http://www.amazon.com/Duncans-Ritual-Freemasonry-Malcolm-Duncan/dp/0679506268

For a whopping $11 you can pretend to be a mason. Memorizing the ritual does not make one a mason. Good luck.

You've tried to upset me in the past with this stuff and just to let you know, you wont be the first to post the "secrets". LOL...

Actually, it does.

The funny thing is that these conspiracy nuts think these "secret" societies are impenetrable, when people have been masquerading as members for years without paying dues at all.

btw, just for fun, here's Freemasonry's link to the mafia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propaganda_Due

lol

makes good men better? sure.

Man that's hella vague...

See, this is what I'm saying. And then when people go off on conspiracy, you say they are uneducated, or lack credible research.

Like you're being elusive on purpose.

But yo, the chart says, "THE MOST IMPORTANT MASONIC EMBLEMS."

??????????????????????

No, actually it doesnt, but you would know since you were made a mason.... when?

Propaganda Due was ONE lodge. One lodge does not get to make a connection with all of Freemasonry to anything. They were not conducting business according to their Grand lodge and their charter revoked soon after the findings were made. Try again.
