My 2 cents on this Jay/Beans beef, Beans was never commercially marketable artist to begin with yet under the Roc he had 3 gold albums and his own label (State Property) he had a pretty solid career. From what I gather Beans is mad at Jay Z because he didn't look out for Beans and didn't act like a friend to him, since according Jay the Roc was like a family and Beans took it to heart, he felt Jay should have been to his court cases and called him more often, Beans over the years kept this to himself until the last straw was Jay taking shots at Beans on Already Home, then kicking Beans out the arena in Philly. Beans said he tried talking to Jay in private but he could never get a hold of Jay so he felt getting at Jay like this was the best way for Jay to get the message. He felt he wasn't a priority at the Roc anymore so he asked to be released and Jay wouldn't let him go. I was disappointed in Beans that he let himself be used as a pawn for 50 Cent. I think Jay should just let him go and get this thing over with because we know jay aint gonna respond.
