It's one of the main reasons why the case caught his eye in the first place. So many holes in the case that were never brought to light. The shady shit with mark racistman and his team was almost thrown out as well. But johnny pulled some smooth shit and got some of it through. Bunch of experts combed that area twice DURING THE DAY. Mark and his team show up at NIGHT and all of a sudden a bloody glove pops up lol. Then him and his team collect blood etc etc. Go somewhere(nobody knows for sure) for a few ours, return to the scene for some reason.
