808s was Auto Tune bullshit

If Detox is heavily Eminem influenced, it would go down as the most anticipated/disappointing album in all of music.....if that happened, the fans waiting 12 years for Detox to be released LOST big time. Me, I could give a fuck, Dre was always a corny nigga to me.

Even with these EM singles/influences I still dont think it will sell! All these songs have been forgettable! SMH He needs to holla at Snoop and let EM do a one song. I honestly think they should scrap every song released so far all that shit is garbage lol

Dr Dre himself on an interview with Allhiphop.com said Eminem is Producing 2-4 tracks on Detox

But this interview was a while ago

It seems like people are more upset that Eminem appears on the song than they are at the overall quality of the songs as if he somehow brought down the quality of the songs. Again, 2001 and the original Chronic were basically Snoop and Dre featuring other artists here and there. After hearing Dre's verse on "I Need A Doctor" and Eminem having the only Dre produced album since 2001, it should be of no surprise that we're hearing Eminem on these songs. The album hasn't even dropped and people are already acting like Eminem is on 75% of the album.

We haven't heard one single song produced by Dr. Dre ("Die Hard" could be Dre track, but only a snippet of it has been released and no official credits have surfaced), yet the biggest complaint is Eminem being featured.

Yeah it is mindblowing people would expect and assume Dre. would produce and write all of the music released for his solo album. I’ll say that goes to them not realizing that Dre has never wrought any of his own lyrics or claimed to be this rapper/MC and they still don’t understand that Dre is not beatmaker ,but a producer, much like a conductor.

And singles are there to gauge what the people want, and get the radio and clubs poppin’. Far as Em, Dre always showed love and guidance to up and coming artists signed to him. So this really shouldn’t be a surprise either. Over all everybody should just sit back and wait til the album drops as we have not heard enough to judge it.

So basically, "I Need A Doctor" and "Die Hard" would be dope songs without Eminem on them? or Are they just not good songs to begin with? That's the point I'm trying to get over because there's always something new as to why the songs aren't good as opposed to just not feeling them period. There's been a lot of posts questioning Eminem's presence on songs period without even mentioning what he ruined on the song besides being there.

I think the songs that have been released so far are forgettable and calculated, but people are listing negatives that were pretty much pre-requisite before going into the album such as: Eminem being on it and possibly being heavily featured and songs having signature Dr. Dre sounds i.e. "Kush" (this was dissed for sounding like something off 2001). People made baseless accusations for years about Dr. Dre not producing his own songs despite the fact that he was credited as producer and co-producer, now that he isn't even credited with two of the singles from the album, it's not even an issue. How does Eminem being featured on two songs take presidence over the fact that Dr. Dre hasn't had a hand in the production of either single from the album?

Well I think people forget Dre made the Chronic, started NWA, discovered Snoop, Em, and made 50 and Game household names. With that, Snoop was featured heavily on the Chronic and was on the main singles. As Dre always showed love and guidance to up & coming artists, which he is obviously doing now for Em. And Dre never really writes his on lyrics so that shouldn't be a surprise ,as he never claimed to be a rapper/MC....So people need to get off that.

Far as producing the tracks released so far, not so sure how people come to the conclusion Dre had no hands in that. The credits on tracks are not the be all and end all. And just because it may not say Dre “produced” it, doesn’t mean he had no say what so ever in the conduction or creation of the beat. Not that Dre made the “beat”, because Dre is not a beatmaker but a producer, much like a conductor.
